Re: Sept. 22nd last event

Looking for a co drive. I'd prefer a fwd or awd car since my next car will be one or the other. Beggars can't be choosers though, right. I can pay your registration fees and offer some beer of your preference. I might be able to help you out. I'll let you know in a few days Sent from my SM-G965U us...

Re: 2019 solo nationals

For Steve and Chris... where to run? I didn't feel unprepared for the west side and I ran locals and travelled to some national stuff. Maybe you guys got used to zmax? Our Bristol events typically have semi-fast to fast sweepers and some offsets. For concrete experience, you know I like Peru. For m...

Re: 2019 solo nationals

The vette video, Josh was under 50 % throttle for 56 seconds of his 64.4 second run..... I guess my response to that is "so what?" He also maintained about 55 mph through a real slalom. There's not some specific amount of throttle time that defines what an acceptable course is. Autocross is about t...

Re: 2019 solo nationals

38%?! Maybe you should get some street tires. Dunno what to tell you about that one.

Re: 2019 solo nationals

Also, for those that are trying to go to these and do well in the future, what are you planning to get the best seat time? Regardless of our vision of what a course should be, I'm not sure Bristol has the shape and surface to prepare us for Lincoln style courses. There's not much anymore except to ...

Re: 2019 solo nationals

Did anyone happen to grab the Tailgater Express speaker from our table under the tent?

Re: 2019 solo nationals

Much better than last year for sure!

Courses were good. I liked the west a bit better although I felt totally unprepared for it.

Feels like a blur when you don't stay for your off days or do the pro. Perhaps next year. :D

No it won't impact us. It's toward the back and begins around where the new location of the T&T course is.

Re: Event 9 check in

Where is the van and trailer. Also important. Did we bring it back to Knoxville last weekend. Keys to said trailer is also next on list. Very important to get the transport person in place ASAP! I will also stop and get water and ice for the event and bring a couple gallons of gas for the generator...

Re: Close out 2019 events

Since you asked

I'd like to see some transitional elements that require changes in speed while maintaining momentum and if they can also incorporate some kind of risk/reward mechanism, that would be great.

Other than that, no skidpads, and no pin cones or minimum radius sweepers/turnarounds.

Re: Open invite - Sun May 13, 5:40 pm - Harp on ice.

Just a bump. Playing tonight at CoolSports at Watt Rd. 8:10 PM in "A-League". Should be pretty fast hockey. Ex-Ice bears, Jr. AAA, college players, etc. The last A-League game I played was a final of 10-7, so it's usually a pretty high scoring affair. I just try to look at the goal differential. Did...
