Re: 2018 PAX is out...

The way I figure it, you only have to be within four seconds of James as long as autocross courses still have cones on them.

I think cam becomes a nationally recognized class in 2018 and gets a jacket at nationals.
From what I've read, the majority doesn't want that.

I think it was kind of already on the ventilator, myself.

Let me be the first to congratulate Steve Rife on his 2018 ETR Pro Class Championship :D

Re: Worst Cars For Inexperienced Drivers

STi/EVO. Overconfidence due to the AWD + a ton of power = blammo.

Re: 2018 national events

Well, I also just realized we have our #1 event in Bristol on Mar 4, so, maybe I'll do the FM Pro and Dixie instead.

Tentatively:

Ft. Myers MT
Ft. Myers Pro
Spring Nats
Toledo Pro
Bristol Double
Toledo Champ
Nationals

edit: this would be the definite schedule if either A) the FM Match was a champ or B) I wasn't so hooked on Dixie.
No Blytheville?
Foo Fighters Atlanta that weekend.

Re: CAM Class

Yep it will take papers to see and he is fast, but so is the GM factory guys that won cam and drive for GM and that is all they do and Ryan was 2 seconds faster in a less prepped car... I'm gonna have to call that car is illegal. Yeah, but you can't think about it that way. You have to compare poin...

Re: 2018 national events

I think it's a big mistake putting 4 events in March like that.

We're thinking about doing both FM events and skipping dixie, taking a little vacation between the two FM events.

Re: CAM Class

The winning STP car has been questioned many times but no papers thrown. As soon as someone throws papers on it, it will be found illegal. I have talked to many that run cam and STP and almost all of them have said that car is illegal. I would tend to agree with the times it ran. I'd be really surp...
