Sounds great. As an FYI Chin has their date as "Sept TBD" in 2024.

Re: Flat Rock USA to replace OR Motorsports Park
Yeah Flatrock could really do a much better job about the PR around the "club". It's obvious that track day orgs and sanctioning bodies will have some level of access. It probably won't be cheap track time, but it will happen. My guess is 2 weekends per month may be exclusive to members......

Re: New Track near Lynchburgh
FYI when I went to indycar in Nashville these guys were there with one of the cars and I fit in it without any problems. 6-1. 240ish pounds.

Assuming I clear the waitlist, yep

Since Mark is going out earlier than I can make it, I might actually fly in.

Re: Flatrock Motorsports Pricing
Yeah I think ViR was $695, two days, a total of SEVEN hours of track time if you wanted it all. In reality that is a lot and really more than your brain can safely handle in most cases. TTNats is great too but its not close to that....mostly because of the track sprint sessions. (Not sure how I feel...

Re: Flatrock Motorsports Pricing
Chin Track Days already has Flatrock as a "Coming Soon" on some of their FB posts. I definitely don't think it will be a cheap track day, but you will have the chance to drive it at some point. When that that will be largely depends on progress of the facility construction.

Re: Schools
Starting line is aimed at first time participants, or close to it (think 1-5 events). I think they include a good deal on a helmet when you do the school. That said, the instructors are very experienced and can tailor the instruction to your current level of skill and knowledge. The ETR school is a ...

Re: PRO Class - any rule changes???
There was a thread in the solo committee forum about going back to counting all runs. I think most people that have consistently run pro the past few years (me, Rife, Cory) were either in favor of it or indifferent. No one was really against counting them all. I'm indifferent. I think it's beneficia...

Re: 01 mr2, good deal or no?
Beyond the actual driving mechanics, you'd also have something to autocross that is a known quantity in our sport that would give you a barometer for how you're improving.

Re: 01 mr2, good deal or no?
I can tell you that good, fully prepped ES versions are pretty expensive for what they are (I've seen them for $19k recently). There are some details between model years that make some more desirable for autocross than others. I'm not sure what those are, but it's probably wheel sizes. Still, it is ...

Here you go. I think it's set to private somehow. I didn't set it up but let me know if that needs to change and I can edit it.
