Ok guys I'm selling my 911. It's local and can probably be back in running condition without that much work.

Re: It's been great

Thanks guys. I'll be close to many good sites and if they get Wilmington back... I'll probably try to add kart track racing to my weekend fun times.

It's been great

Hi guys just making an announcement on here. I will not be running local events next year as I will be moving up to Cincinnati in a month or so. It's a job move which is good for my career. It's been a great couple of years with the ETR region and definitely one of the high points of my time in TN. ...

Re: Last Event

I think the course would've been a lot of fun in my Z06, but I had to borrow a car which I couldn't drive after 3 runs. It was a nice mix of places to put corner exits (over crests) which did interesting things to the handling balance of the old 911. Ended up carrying a front tire in the air over se...

Re: New Spec Coupe Class Unveiled For Twins

I generally think this is an ok thing to try as a one off to see how well a spec class is received. It isn't a proliferation of an entire set of new classes like ST* or anything, but ok maybe it could become like that. Part of why I went to a street class, and AS in particular, was so I could essent...

Re: So, I wrote a letter.

I think it has about as much of a chance as a more modern 911 has of being included in STR or STU. I'm not saying it isn't appropriate to put it in the class, but historically these types of cars generally aren't let in where they might be competitive. Best of luck with it. My 996 experience eventua...

Re: 2017 Nationals Thread - Prep meeting Aug. 12 or 13

So it looks like I'm not going to be able to make it to nationals this year. I've got a buyer, Brian Tefft Jr, lined up for the shocks off of my miata. Would anyone be able to carry a box with 4 shocks packaged up to nationals to give to him?

FS 2000 Mazda Miata with spares and extras

Now parting out all performance pieces. So I’ve decided it is time to move on from my Miata. What I have is a 2000 Miata with about 100k miles on the chassis and engine and a lot of extras and spare parts. This is a car that I bought in the bay area in California in 2013 with the intent of racing in...

Re: Regional 8 After-Action Discussion

Nothing against Bristol, but we don't need to put all our eggs in one basket. I've been pretty vocal at meetings but between the cost of running there, the fact they seem to run hot and cold about us being out there, and potential damage to the program if we had to write off a season due to loosing...

Re: Regional 8 After-Action Discussion

Shifter karts are fast and a whole different learning curve to everything else I've driven. Big thanks to Jason for the co-drive. I'm glad I didn't get raw timed by a street car. Shifting while driving one handed is kind of hard to coordinate.

Re: **DRAGCROSS REGISTRATION**

Only 36 registered?! Can't believe so many folks are opting out of the chance to win money doing what we love. My money is on Dan W in his Tag kart or Jed in HS. Maybe Pilson in the Fucus. Slow and steady wins this race. I delaminated my miata tires at the last event. I probably would've signed up ...
