Re: Ladies STM class

I think all the cars that will have lady co drivers may fit into ESP (If I swap BOV). That may be the easiest way to fix our issue.

The rule book on the SCCA site still shows the 2.0L WRX in ESP I thought

The only thing I have found is the blow off valve. I have not gone through the entire list yet.

Re: Ladies STM class

I agree with you Rife. I am in the process of finding out how many of the ladies that said they want to race are actually going to before it goes to far. As of right now I have 3 that have confirmed they will attend all year long and co drive in STM with their significant other.

Re: Ladies STM class

I am sorry for stiring the pot so much . I never had the intention of changing anything about STM. I think the class is perfect how it is. I just wanted to see about the possibility of a ladies STM class. It may just be more trouble than it is worth.

Re: Ladies STM class

I don't see a point in giving STM a pax or limiting the cars that can run in the class. I was just thinking of a way that the ladies could have a class for them self. I know that there is a "ladies" class or pax determination for most regular classes in SCCA, but there is not one for STM a...

Ladies STM class

Hey everyone, As some of you know my wife has started getting into autocross recently and is really enjoying it. She has been encouraging other ladies to come out and give it a shot. One of the biggest concerns my wife had as well as some of the other ladies I have talked to about getting involved i...

Re: 2nd Event

I really enjoyed the course. I had a good time racing yesterday except for the part where I almost ran over Scott in the final sweeper in my final run! I had a hectic day of testing some new things on the car, but I know what I need to do now in order to get it straight. Also Thanks to Harp for taki...

I really enjoyed yesterday but, most of all so did my wife. She will be attending the March 9th event as well. I however "never had my car" and will be looking to improve as the season goes on.

I can help with setup or whatever as I will be there early. I have convinced the wife to run in her first autocross and it will give me time to explain how everything works.
