I have to agree with "200 TW LMAO".
That's exactly what I was thinking every time I checked Bradley's Rivals for texture and tackyness.
Certainly closer to A7 or drag radial compounds.

I wish these last few tire recommendations came in my size options. None really come close without stepping up to a 19" diameter, which I am not interested in.
Far as I know - NT05 is the only 200TW tire available in 315/35/17.

They aren't bad - very cost effective for 17"/275 + 17"/315 200TW tires. The compound is not as "tacky" as the Rivals, and tends to overheat + start washing out after the 3rd aurocross run (I will spray them after the third run next year) - I got to keep tabs on the texture of th...

lol
Tony Bolton spent years trying to get STM approved as a local class...
And then SCCA found a way to turn it into 3+ additional national classes (they needed some more)...

Re: Saturday Events
For those of us too stupid / sleep deprived to properly read a calendar, can we get some kind of general email blast and or announcement on the board that says "hey dumbass, this weekends race is on SATURDAY not Sunday" when we break our longstanding Sunday schedule in the future? Thanks....

Tentatively in for sound or whatever.
Not in for rain (but sound won't be very important in the rain anyway).

Re: Nt555r's for autocross?
They're 100 treadwear, and the sidewalls of drag radials are not generally considered to be very suitable for autocross.

All my cars have Millenial Theft Deterrent Devices - so I'm not worried about any them getting stolen. I thought the water barriers were only required for the "spectator" type charity events we were running there?
Or is a "spectator" charity event the only way we're getting back in there?

Also, The Art of Racing in the Rain will be out Aug 9th. Looks good - "he's more person than dog" - most of them are. Also stumbled across this while looking for more of the scene from Jim's first Cobra autocross ride along ("I was born ready Mr. Shelby - Hit it"): https://www.y...
