Just tried to register and saw that it's closed now. Is it ok to just show up?

Re: Experience with E85 stations around Knoxville?

Thanks Austin, good info. I wouldn't say too big yet, just staying with stock turbo until I kill it. Hoping for some good fun power though with new ic, piping, injectors, and changing to ecu based boost.

Experience with E85 stations around Knoxville?

I'll be retuning my car soon for both premium and E85. The Pilot station on Northshore is the closest one for me. Does anyone have experience as to what the actual ethanol content usually is and how consistent it is? I've got a tester to figure it out myself but would like any first hand experience.

Re: Best shops for services (Alignment, Tire Mounting, etc.)

I see the pro dent repair on the 1st page, but I'm unfortunately going to need more than that. Good body shop recommendation needed in the Maryville/Knoxville area. Met a couple of mailboxes today. Hoping to find a good shop that you'd trust to not cut corners and finish in a reasonable amount of ti...

Re: Best shops for services (Alignment, Tire Mounting, etc.)

Thanks, have thought about DIY but have heard too many bad stories. Was thinking it might be best left to someone else. Might ask them if I need it. Will be heading to cars n coffee for the first time on Mar 2 there. Just found out you're not around Knoxville anymore. Will miss the competition!

Re: Best shops for services (Alignment, Tire Mounting, etc.)

Slight chance I might have to roll the rear fenders on my Evo. Any shop in Knoxville/Maryville area you guys would trust to do a good job on that?

Re: Best shops for services (Alignment, Tire Mounting, etc.)

I've had great luck with C&D Tire in Maryville, on 411 near where 129 heads towards the mountains. Great people. They usually seem to be able to get me right in. The last 2 alignments I've had they let me sit in the car and they put it to the exact specs I want. They've also been able to press i...

I was about to sign up but it looks like all spots are taken. I'd be interested if more spots open or someone needs to sell theirs.

Re: EvoSchool is official!!

Very interested in this, but wondering if it will be worth it for my experience level. Have a few years of motorcycle track days, none for cars, only one autocross, and a couple of Mazda events with an autocross course. Seems like the novice school would of course be better, but it's not until later...

Re: Question for the rule book people..

No, however the factory service manual shows the proper order of the plates, and it's not how they actually are on the car. I'm researching on the evom forum, and I usually see something to the effect of "stu legal" with regards to the rearrangement, but that additional plates are either e...

Re: Question for the rule book people..

Austin, I was corner working when you were running last weekend. I was impressed with your driving and was hoping to talk to you. That was my first AX, I was in the blue evo. Also curious about mods and classes. Only have briefly skimmed the rulebook so far. Was mostly curious about how a modified ...
