Re: Good Subaru Shop

I'm actually dropping mine at Fastech today. Ive used them for years, mostly for simple things i just cant do on my own in a gravel driveway. They do usually have a wait, but they're honest, do good work and are reasonably priced. Any they'll be a lot closer than City Limit for you.

I think Subaru tries to use this as a model for handling for most of their vehicles. Image

Re: 2004 Z06 CE

Hadn't really thought about doing any trading around, but I would probably be open to a Miata in the 3500-5000$ range plus cash. Also pretty sure I saw you at Sweet Peas last week. Yup that was me. I thought i recognized the car. Looks like it's in great shape. IF you ever want back in to a subaru,...

Re: Car eligibility

I would lower it but that still wouldn’t let it run would it. I may just barrow a car to let her run some Once upon a time, we had someone come out that would run a Juke but it was lowered. Not crazy low, but low enough. Basically, the car can have a maximum of a 1:1 ratio of track width to height.

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Nationals. Assume no new tires/car prep cause you like autocross and care how you do outside of nats. $195 - entry fee $200 - fuel (assume 30 mpg, $3/gallon in your sensible dual purpose car) $50 - 1 T&T session $200 - hotel (assume 4-5 nights, splitting room) $100 - figure about food/drink/enterta...

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

As long as other people do it, it is probably worth it. I mean, registering is a pain, but then you register and that's over. Cars and parts and travel cost so much that I think most people don't even pay attention to entry fees. I don't really have a ton of interest in track days or time trials, s...

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Between all the headaches and extra money grabbing, i wonder at what point will Nats just cease to be worth the trouble. As long as other people do it, it is probably worth it.
