Awesome, challenging course. Had an absolute blast. If only i would have stayed off the cones, would have won class.

Re: Looking for a ride for Summer Nats

I learned today that the shop working on my motor killed it. Dead. Looking for a replacement motor now but there's very little chance of having a working Corvette by Thursday. I have fresh Falkens for a C5 or C6 Corvette if anyone is thinking about signing up and wants a codriver. Second opti...

You should be fine with a stock valve. I run about 19PSI on my stock BPV. And still get all the fun noises with the intake

If that's the case, youre most likely fine running a stock BPV, unless you're running a crazy amount of boost and NEED an aftermarket bpv

Is the BPV a full recirculating valve or one that vents to the atmosphere?

Re: Classing help.

Ok so I'm brand new to all of this. I'm thinking about heading up to Bristol for the autocross event. But I dont know how or where to class my car. It's a 2015 impreza STI. I've got a cold air intake, cobb downpipe, Tomei catback exhaust, cobb AP tuner, boomba BPV, cobb short shifter with bushings,...

Re: Classing help.

Basically the BPV bumps you way up in class, I believe either SM (street mod) or at the least ASP (A- Street Prepared). I used to have an aftermarket valve on my STi and i remember it caused me to be way outclassed.

Pretty sure you'd be in D-Street since your wheels are stock size. Tires are 200TW?

Re: Looking for a car

High miles don't always mean sketchy on a C5 though. Maintenance on them is key. I'd rather buy one with 80-100K miles on it that was maintained than a 25K mile garage queen. big things on the C5 ( in my experience ) Valve springs Harmonic balancer torque tube bushings and bolts ( mine @ 98K miles ...

If it's the red one i'm thinking of, it may be McMark's old car.
