Re: National events whose going

Hell, i probably wont do any nationals this year, and locals will probably be sparse for me as well. Between family obligations and not really having a car to drive kinda limits things

80 psi in the rear tires? It's a little more predictable than 20psi. Well.. maybe not 80,. 65-70 to start?

Re: Today

Moving beyond the course discussion, let's talk about course-working. I had three consecutive runs where I yelled for course workers to check a cone in the offset before the slalom. I stopped the last time to get them moving on it. They apparently called it in like there was nothing wrong. That's n...

Re: Today

That's about where I thought I was in second gear about middle of it and maybe 60-63 mph going towards the showcase. Looking at the rule book, 2.2 Course Safety and Layout, Section A, it says "A. Courses must be tight enough so that cars run the entire course in their lower gears. Speeds on straigh...

Re: Today

All the transitional elements on the course were definitely "big car spacing" at 70 + feet. Ya'll just need to drive better.

Re: 2018 Nationals

They will not add 2 more days either.... So how do they plan to mitigate this in the future? It just seems to me like something would have to give. Either a lower entrant cap or longer/more days. It all seems to come down to math IMO. Assuming the weather had held out, seems like 1400 is about the ...

Re: 2018 Nationals

They will not run at night period, even with lights and the cost of those lights would be way more than they would be willing to pay as I have first hand witnessed the cost of putting on solo nationals and it is way more than I thought.... How feasible would it be to add two days to offset all the ...

Re: 2018 Nationals

Seems to me that the most logical and least painful resolution would be to run two extra days. With 1400 plus people it's just going to get worse IMO.

Re: 2018 Nationals

lol! no, but I can imagine. :) seriously... its been a messed up deal out there. Most knew it was a 50/50 deal with the 1400 plus drivers running. Sure! it could have gone off perfectly... had everything lined up with out a hitch. That nearly never happens. There was no room for error! Ill go ahead...
