Minimum age to ride along

What are the rules for children riding along in solo II? My 12 year old son wants to ride with me Sunday.

Re: ETR School Wrap Up

It was great. I'm still slow, but much less so. I hate that I have obligations on Sunday that will prevent me from putting the instruction to work.

Re: 2012 ETR Autocross School

Looking forward to this. Unfortunately, have to be back in Greeneville by 3:30 on Sunday for a meeting, so I won't get to apply the wisdom to Sunday's race.

Should be there, assuming nothing unforseen. I'm green, so just point me to what you need.

Re: Explain the Tire class please

The people made the first event enjoyable for novice. Got some good advice from David D, Steve (guy with the novice albatross duty), and others whose names I've forgotten. Unfortunately, it didn't sink in soon enough and I'll probably have forgotten it all by Pellissipi.

That's what's worrying me!

Re: Explain the Tire class please

Thanks for all the responses. I've pretty well resigned myself to the fact that I'm not going to be willing to spend enough $ to be very competitive. That's okay. I just want to go out and have a good time and will learn to be satisfied. Some of the mods I'm considering screw up competitiveness sinc...

Explain the Tire class please

Ran my first autocross at WSCC Sunday. Was slow, but had fun. Hey, someone's gotta be last! Ran in FS. Car currently all stock, but have springs and shocks to install that I've been saving up for since before deciding to autocross. Still on the factory all season tires too. Don't want to invest in r...

Re: ETR #2 done!

It was my first time out and I had a blast even though I was slowest of the slow. Learned a lot and looking forward to the next one. Many thanks to the event organizers. Thanks also for the pointers from the old timers.

Re: Rusty nuts and bolts, HELP!

Too late for you, but maybe help next time. Recently had a couple of spark plugs that were rusted into a Dodge 360 head. PB Blaster, heat, etc. wasn't doing anything. Finally got some of that CRC freeze off stuff. Heated them up with a torch, then soaked with CRC. Did the trick.

Assigned number?

Just went to the registration page for the Walter State Solo and it requires a car #. This is my first race. How do I select the number? Thanks.
