Re: Solo Nationals question

No on the split This will hurt anyone that either is thinking of, or was planning on Flying in to drive and flying back out for whatever reason they have. When I go, I'm there all week anyway, so on a scheduling deal, it makes no difference. I am not planning on going this year, but if someone said ...

Re: Pelli back on the 2020 Sch

great news!
And yes, PSCC has a great amount of grip ( or at least it did a few years ago ) and I'll make sure this is on our calendar. Might get Tyler out there if he's in town. He'll be off to College by then

2020 SCCA Time Trial schedule

So, National SCCA has posted their national events, but is there any schedule for the region or SEDiv? Looking to try to make one or two depending on WHEN and WHERE they are. The Road Atlanta one is looking like a good national one to go to, but that's about the only one I'll be able to make schedul...

Re: Cam Rules 2020

To be 150% clear... None of my comments were to be judging the validity or logic or anything in that class. I happen to love everything that the class is and is not. I actually toyed around with the idea of buying something different and that was the direction I was going to go with it. I'd love to ...

Re: Cam Rules 2020

Yep. That was the whole point from when I first heard about it. Run what ya brung as long as it's on Street tires. I think that's one reason it's not a jacket class too... That way it doesn't go nuclear. I see both sides. Just was saying I'm not surprised this had happened. If I start doing TT event...

Re: Cam Rules 2020

Until someone drops a Corvette frame under a 63 Nova and makes some bastard love child from it.

Totally agree on the weight and tire deal. But don't think it's about that. I think it's about keeping costs somewhat ok.

Re: Cam Rules 2020

It was only a matter of time before they started trying to reign in the Fringe cars that would start a trend. Cars that wouldn't pass a states safety inspection shouldn't be legal IMO since they are supposed to be street cars. Granted... Not every state has that. I get it. Just like St classes that ...

Pep boys near cedar bluff closing?

Anyone been there lately?
Everything 50% off and they are shrinking the store inside as they go.
Moving? Closing for good? Remodeling?

Re: CAM Classes suck. Why would anyone want to be in one?

No desire to run the Corvette on Street tires. If it gets too that point, I'm going to the track.
I'll run the car in SSP with limited prep if SSR goes away.

I see no reason to screw with SM,SP. the cars are awesome and it's great to see the engineering the owners put into them over the years.

Re: 2019 solo nationals

Luster was magnificent with the throttle, by the way. I bet a lot of AS probably used a lot more throttle and went a lot slower. This right there. I enjoyed both courses. Opinions are where they are. None of them are wrong... They are yours and you're entitled to them. I under drove the shit out of...
