WTB: 5x8 enclosed trailer

Hi all, My trailer is about to fail and I need a new one in the next 4 weeks before we leave for Lincoln for Spring Nats. Bizarrely the market around here at least has gone dry - only one trailer currently up for sale on Craigslist and none closeby on FB Marketplace. Ideally, the trailer would have:...

Re: Event 3 after action

Agreed that was a good day. Since I now have heat in the tires all the time for the first time in 10 years I was playing with tire pressures on the later runs. I learned a little and Kieran almost caught me but for a bogged start on his fast run. I think it would have been close if he'd gotten a goo...

Re: Dragcross!!

Now I'm getting nervous. I canceled Bluhvul plans and it looks like we only have 9 people signed up for this Dragcross.

Re: Trailer Sway/Leveling Hitch Info

That Camco hitch looks good. I like its looks better than the Equilizer hitch. But my best advice is to look at some travel trailer forums to see what’s hot and what’s not. The folks doing the most towing will be talking about what works and what doesn’t.

Re: Blytheville Pro

I think we're staying here to do the Dragcross instead. Hate to miss Bluhvul, but a saved vacation day, two nights at a hotel, and 16 hours less driving trumps that for me.

Re: Dragcross!!

Is this still on? No entries showing publicly now. I was planning on staying here to do this instead of Bluhvul and I need a final decision soon.

Re: Trailer Sway/Leveling Hitch Info

I bought the Rolls-Royce solution several years ago and it was truly incredible. The Hensley Arrow worked spectacularly well on our 11k trailer. A lot of money, but made towing so easy.

In case anyone is interested, GoPro Motorplex is in Mooresville. Rental karts open at 2 pm Thursday. All of KM will be there in the morning for a test day in our karts.

Re: March 29-31 zMax Match Tour

There are several hotels in Concord, just off the highway and a few miles from the site. We're at the Residence Inn.

Re: Fort Myers Pro

So no comments on the rain? In an area that was on the verge of drought conditions. No afternoon runs on Saturday. I'm not sad I missed it...

Yeah, by the standard power-to-weight ratio, we're close, but a little under where JB and JY are. But I'll take the 55" width every time.

Re: Thanks for a well-run first event of the season!

Admittedly I only had two runs, but even if I'd topped out, which I did not, I would have been at 78. I was probably 75ish through the middle and I doubt very seriously if any cars were faster.
