Re: Event 6 after action

Agreed that the course was a lot of fun, especially for the Miotter's maiden voyage. I can't believe I didn't cone with those wide wheels on a (relatively, for me) wide vehicle. It was another of those 'it drove better than it walked' courses. I wish I'd remembered my helmet and helmet cam.

Re: learn me some knee surgery

I had a flap of torn meniscus for several years that got worse with more taekwondo so I got it fixed. I'd get the flip a few times each year and HATED it. The MRI showed the flap and the doc I had described exactly what he'd be doing, with two options depending on how it looked when he got in. He en...

Re: Spring Nats

FYI, on the visuals on the West course - they were bad, and even worse for the karts. I went off course on my first run because I looked ahead and missed the apex cone way down and saw the next one. I saw it after I'd turned but it was too late at that speed. At least it saved me from going over the...

Re: Bristol double wait list

Yeah, we're not going to be here for the Match Tour on a family trip, but we'll be back for the Champ.

Re: Spring Nats

From a small mod vehicle perspective, all of these courses are a blast. I have no complaints and I will agree with Eric that the last few (several?) years the speeds have escalated too far and this Champ course was a welcome change, rewarding hitting breaking and turning points more than the last fe...

Re: Bristol double wait list

Nevermind, the cap went up and both Kieran and I are in for the Champ Tour.

Re: Spring Nats

Sadly we're not leaving until Thursday afternoon - missing the Pro this year. But we'll be at the site early PM on Friday if you would please save us a spot for the truck and trailer.

Re: Blytheville Pro

Eric, are you living in a van? Down by the river? Inexplicably, the list of videos after yours contained many videos about living in vans. Trying to work out the connection between a ProSolo burnout and van living.

WTB: 5x8 enclosed trailer

Hi all, My trailer is about to fail and I need a new one in the next 4 weeks before we leave for Lincoln for Spring Nats. Bizarrely the market around here at least has gone dry - only one trailer currently up for sale on Craigslist and none closeby on FB Marketplace. Ideally, the trailer would have:...

Re: Event 3 after action

Agreed that was a good day. Since I now have heat in the tires all the time for the first time in 10 years I was playing with tire pressures on the later runs. I learned a little and Kieran almost caught me but for a bogged start on his fast run. I think it would have been close if he'd gotten a goo...

Re: Dragcross!!

Now I'm getting nervous. I canceled Bluhvul plans and it looks like we only have 9 people signed up for this Dragcross.

Re: Trailer Sway/Leveling Hitch Info

That Camco hitch looks good. I like its looks better than the Equilizer hitch. But my best advice is to look at some travel trailer forums to see what’s hot and what’s not. The folks doing the most towing will be talking about what works and what doesn’t.

Re: Blytheville Pro

I think we're staying here to do the Dragcross instead. Hate to miss Bluhvul, but a saved vacation day, two nights at a hotel, and 16 hours less driving trumps that for me.

Re: Dragcross!!

Is this still on? No entries showing publicly now. I was planning on staying here to do this instead of Bluhvul and I need a final decision soon.
