Swap muffler is easier said than done especially when I don't own another muffler. I'm looking into an auger muffler insert to quiet down more anyway it's $20 shipped from summit. I'd rather do a bolt on trap but I hear they only lower 2 db? No experience with them.

I've had a resonator the past two events. I didn't have one the first event with the new engine. My car reads lower than Marcus's Miata according to two events ago. With sound being strictly enforced at this event can someone please let me know what db I have been hitting since the resonator install? I've not heard anything negative since the first event in it without the resonator...

17" is pretty standard for the NC. Finding a decent spec 16", especially a 9" wide, for it might be tough.
