Re: Any interest in here?
I guess my wording was wrong on this. Racing Dreamz was inviting the Rally X program to an event that was being hosted by us. I do apologize for the bad wording. RD will be reserving the Chamber Park with the approval of the Chamber of Commerce, if we can all come to terms on this matter. But, if Mt...

Re: Any interest in here?
Matt, where is the interest at? I'm trying to get something going up here in upper E. Tenn. But it seems like I'm falling on deaf ears.

Re: Any interest in here?
We're still looking for possible sites up here in the tri-cites region for a Rally X event(s). I hope to nail down a few locations before spring here in Mountain City.

Re: Possible rallyX sight.
All this property is owned by the St. John Corp. The airport, beside the airport and across the road(wautaga rd) next to river. 301 acres total. With a bit of grooming, it would be pretty good.

Re: What was your first car?
My first car I bought was a '68 Charger(in 1975) with a 383 in it. It was fast, but didnt handle worth a crap. I totaled it in a power slide(drifting) at about 80 mph on a curve on Westland Dr. in west Knoxville. It was about 1am and as I was in the middle of the curve a horse comes running down the...

Re: iRacing is so cool.
Anyone into sim racing, we have two Ricmotech racing simulator cockpits that we no long need. These were cut and milled by a professional cabinet/woodworking shop in Bristol, Tn.(Peerless Wood next to BMS). Not a back yard project. CAD loaded and laser cut. Just need a seat, computer and controls. T...

Re: New locations for Rally X?
After much discussion and negotiations, the site that we were looking at in Chuckey will not materialize, again. We apologize for getting some hopes up, mainly ours, but it was just not meant to be I guess. The property owner, an engineer, put way too much thought and engineering into it and kept co...

Re: New locations for Rally X?
Thanks for the reply. Yes this is the property that we are seriously talking with the owner about. If the SCCA find this 40+ acre pasture area to be sufficient for RallyX, we will move further in our negotiations on acquiring the property. Another note: We have contacted motor sport circuit designer...

Re: Interest in Rally Cross in Rogersville?
Unfortunately, the Rogersville raceway is out. The land owner has determined it was too much aggravation to deal with the 1 form paperwork and taking our money. He has decided to let his 60 acres and the kart track grow up in weeds and brush. Someone spooked him about his property taxes and non prof...

Re: Rallycross
Who sets the pricing? The SCCA club or region or the location(RR)? Does the ETR SCCA set the driver's fee's and the spectators entry?

The acreage to the east of the oval. We are leasing the oval, that acreage and the acreage just north(above) the drag strip.
