Re: Spring rates

Spring rate and dive are not necessarily related. Dive is more a function of suspension geometry. There are anti-dive kit for the NS95 that will fix it by relocating the LCA bushing. Selecting the correct spring rate (and shock damping rate) can be pretty involved, and getting it wrong can cause rea...

Re: Event #2 Sound "Hall of Shame"

Dishonorable mention (over 90): CAMC99, STM30, STS55, CAMS22 Doggone right it's dishonorable. A Cobra at less than 100dB 50 feet from the side is a crying shame. Carroll must be rolling over in his grave... :D Anyway, it's good to know that my 3rd set of pipes finally gave me some breathing room on...

Re: MSR issue

Interesting. I logged on to MSR to change it - and did, but when I checked the entries again, it still showed me in novice. I suppose it is possible that I accidentally selected Novice the first time, and it just took MSR some time to refresh the list when I changed it. It wouldn't be the first time...

MSR issue

When I registered, I selected CAM PAX, but MSR put me in novice. There is a surprisingly large number of people in novice, so I suspect it is happening to others too. I'll make sure it is straightened out when I register Sunday morning, but just thought I would bring it up to the powers-that-be.

Re: almost done! event 10

Course drove a lot better that it walked. That's for sure. I was sure I would hate it when I walked it, but it drove great. Well, all except for that hairpin cone. That was just evil. My apologies to John and Lin for screwing up your times and thanks to Chris for getting them straightened out. I'm ...

Re: Official Oct 12 Pellissippi Event Thread!

I don't think I will be able to make it, but if I can, I'll be there early and I can cover registration. I should have a solid answer later in the week. I have confirmed that several guys will be there to run timing. Thanks guys! Just a request to whoever assigns workers that if you put me...

Re: Seats

I have Corbeau A4 seats. I'm not a particularly slim person, and they fit me very nicely. They are well-made, comfortable and have excellent lateral support.
