Re: dad has an stm car now! also a question or 2

Cam swap the LS1 to get the rwhp goals you're after. Swap the 241 heads for 243's and an LS6 intake for an extra 20-25 at the wheels.
As for tires, Falken just released news at SEMA that they're making a new compound in the RT615K.

Not sure where you would put the 2000 pounds of lead to make min weight in CAM tho
Why bother with adding weight to make the class? It's excluded anyway! LOL

Re: 2017 CAM rules

Kudos for anyone willing to try it, but why would anyone autocross a Jeep? Anyway, after reading this, what's the major difference in CAM-T and CAM-S? My truck was put in S, but according to the rules, I could be in either S or T, correct?

Event photos

I noticed there were several people taking photos at the two events(10 & 12) I attended this season. I was wondering if any f you know who they were and if they have a website and/or a Facebook page where one could see or possibly purchase photos if they happened to get any of my truck.

Re: 2017 pax numbers

Can someone give a clear explanation of PAX to a newbie? By analyzing results from several events throughout the country, a modifier is developed and assigned to each class. This modifier is a percentage. A-Modified is usually the fastest raw time class. So, A-Mod, in theory, is as fast as anyone c...

Re: Regional #12 post-event

I had a great time! This was my second event with SCCA, and the first(and only) event at Pellissippi. My tires couldn't get enough heat built up to get any grip. The truck was very loose in all the corners. I'm definitely gonna try to get some racing seats, and some sort of better shocks this winte...

Just my notebooks - you were: dnf, 87.9, 83.9, 84.7

OK, cool! I need to have new exhaust installed, and I'll be getting a completely different configuration. That gives me a good idea what to shoot for.

Re: Novice school.

Hope all the students had a great time at the ETR school at learned some things that will help them with the events we have. I think it was one of our better schools that we have done. Thanks to all that helped out with the school and big thanks to all the students and instructors. Thank you all! I...

SCCA vs ETRSCCA membership

OK, I'm wanting to get signed up and registered for the Novice school in a couple weeks. The registration page says I have to be an ETRSCCA member. What is the difference in an SCCA vs ETRSCCA membership? Am I automatically registered for the region through an SCCA membership? I'm sorry if this soun...

Re: Need CAM class info

I'm still running lowered stock suspension with factory sway bar and stock style brakes with aggressive Hawk pads. I am running an LS1 engine with 700R4 auto trans.

That's where I was getting confused is if I should be in CAM-T or CAM-S.
