Re: Never Rally'd before, Interested. Questions
Hey, a regular rallycrosser chiming in here. I rallycross a Subaru Impreza, 1999 - stock is about 6" of ground clearance but the oil pan is somewhat up and away from the crossmembers and whatnot. We are pretty low on rocks up at the Tazewell site other than small gravel bits, but I will tell yo...

Re: Regional #12 post-event
Something was up with a lot of the times. I know Jon Hammons' (NES 83) fastest time was not counted, he ran a 66.1xx but his 2nd fastest run was what was counted. In HS, my codriver was actually recorded as winning due to my 3rd and 4th runs being double counted...my fastest and 5th run was a 68.416...

Re: RallyX Facebook Page
I have been helping run a FB page for a rally team, if we need help on the FB front let me know and I'm glad to help. Also Sean, if timing help is needed I am pretty good with tech and can help run if needed.

Re: Choice, choices...time for new tires!
I've driven the car about 8000 miles in the last year including 5 autocrosses - and I basically daily'd the car over the summer and end of last year due to my Subaru being down a few times for maintenance. I still like the g-Forces but spending another $100 will have me a set of 200TW and zoom zoom....

Re: Choice, choices...time for new tires!
When I say double duty I mean more of "I can drive to events and run mountain roads and my tires will last more than a year". I have a Subaru for the winter and am only really worried about wet weather performance as far as not dying goes. Lucas have you had experience with the SS595? I li...

Choice, choices...time for new tires!
So I've been autocrossing regularly for around a year now in my BMW 318ti and the RE760's that it was wearing when I bought it are officially Worn Out™. Now, being a college student I don't have unlimited budget and I'd like these tires to do double duty to a point (i.e. not really interested in 200...

Classing Clarification (Modified E30)
Hi all, I have a friend coming out to this next event and wanted to double-check the classing. From my reading of the rules, I landed on STX. See what you think. 1990 BMW 325i - stock M20 I6 and 5 speed manual * Bavauto Sport Springs * Bilstein shocks * 3.73 LSD from 325is From my reading, changing ...

Re: a new site?!?!?!
You can bet the Black Flag Racing crew will be out there. At least 4-5, maybe more cars. Many of us codrive too. April 9th sounds great!

Tires for sale?
Hi all, I recently acquired a 1998 BMW 318ti Sport and unfortunately it needs new tires. The current tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE760s which are fantastically grippy but down to about 2/32". Is anyone selling some used tires? Size is currently 225/50/16 but the wheels are OEM BMW 16x7. Thanks!
Re: TIRES
Maybe a bit late but if anyone has some old 14" or 15" performance tires I'd be interested in them, my Subie runs on 15x6.5" and my E30 is on 14" BMW bottlecaps of the same width. They both currently have 450TW all-seasons and I'd really like to make them more competitive in HS.

Neat, that LYAOGR looks awesome! A full day of casual rallying with dinner to follow. Know of any in the wintertime?

TSD Rallying near(ish) to East TN?
I've been reading up and researching TSD rallying and even though it's a bit pedantic I love the idea of it. I know ETR isn't involved with it, but are there any regions/events in the surrounding area that do? Maybe some NC chapters, Mid/West TN or KY?

Classing Question
My friend is interested in autox, but I'm not sure what class he'd be registered in. He has a 1991 Audi 200 20v Turbo, which stock is in GS. However, this car has an RS2 exhaust manifold and a chipped ECU. I was looking through the different categories on the registration page but I'm confused as to...
