bet there was a pucker-factor in that maneuver. Actually, there was more pucker factor involved in the infield slide than the one pictured. I knew way before it ever got sideways that I wasn't going to make it. When you lock the rear brakes in the braking area and the car is off camber, it's ...

The Tiger did it again. And there was rain???!!!! There were some dry runs. There were also a LOT of off course excursions. Mine might have been the farthest off but it definitely wasn't the most exciting. The amazing thing is that Tony even showed up. I think the fact that they already had h...

No, you would be Axis... You have a Japaneese heart.

It sounds like it wouldn't work in our region, though due to the number of Axis cars we have.

So, like your car would be like the Adolf Hitler Mobile since it's from Germany and mine would be some sort of Kamikaze, rising sun-mobile???
You got it. We would be racing against those little Brit cars and some 'murican iron.

In Florida, (Jacksonville, I think) they have an event called Axis vs. Allies. It's based on WWII groupings. Something like that would probably be a lot of fun and it would probably be considerably less compicated. It's PAX based with a few other factors thrown in. I think straight PAX would be fine...

Keep in mind that the $460 is for both Phase 1 and Phase 2. I can understand the tight on money thing but you can just do one school. Personally, I would prefer to do Phase 1 and wait until later in the year to do Phase 2. You learn a lot and it takes some time to process it all. I think the break i...

i was considering it until i saw that dollar figure!!!!! we need a better EEK icon. It's easy to say that before you take the school. After you take it, you will think it's a bargain. The only way you don't get anything out of it is if you go in with the attitude that they can't tech you anything. ...

A lot of race tires do this. My Hoosiers are doing this to a very small extent. If you shave the Victoracers they usually won't do this near as much. Have seen this happen on the Ecsta 700's, the old BFG R1's, and on some Yokohamas. It's not really anything to worry about but it is likely that you w...

I figured I'd chime in on the PAX thing and continue with the thread-jacking. :) I have to agree with Scott on the PAX. In my opinion, it is the most fair comparison that we have between the classes. It takes in to account the results of competition for several years. It's probably not perfect but i...
