Have you checked with any of the local hose shops like Royal Brass and Hose? How about some of the big truck shops like Truck Pro. I'll second Royal Brass and hose. They tend to have some oddball stuff although they can be a pain to deal with at times. You might try Knoxville Rubber and Gasket whil...

Chattanooga's current site qualifies as unused cow pasture. I heard a rumor that at one of their events this past summer they had weeds taller than the cars. They had mowed it by the time I got there in the fall.

Don,

Congrats on the new shop. I had a lot of fun spinning the VW up on the dyno. I should be back to see you again in the spring to summer months with more tweeks.

Not only is the battery box recommended. It is required for batteries in a non stock location, if I remember correctly.

Some basic tech info would probably be good such as adding extra air to tires and being sure your battery is bolted down securely.

So was there a meeting? Was the 2004 schedule discussed? I'm just curious and hoping there's not an event on BOTH May 23 and May 30. I'll be honeymooning (!whoa!) and I don't care to miss one event but I'd hate to miss two. Since I've only been around for 5 events I didn't know if events were ever ...

Hey Mark, I have my 84 Rabbit 16V still together. Insurance totaled it for me, but it would be fine for beating on in the dirt. The open diff in the FF wide ratio trans sucks, as long as we don't explode the motor  I would prefer to trailer it(I know how we would drive it muah ha ha ha haa...

I would be happy to organize the event, but like you said Wayne, a site is definitely the limiting component here. The folks from Chatty would be more than willing to come help us run this event. Seems like I remember hearing that someone here had a family member with land in Greenville that would ...

Free 225/50/13 Hoosiers

I'm cleaning out some of the garage and I ran across some old tires that I don't need. Two of them are in bags and I don't know how much is left on them. The other two are looking thin but would probably be ok on the back of a FWD car. These tires have been know to go on as narrow as a 5" wheel...

Go to the Cedar Bluff exit off the interstate and go north (toward Middlebrook Pike). Continue until Cedar Bluff dead ends into Middlebrook and go to the shopping center directly across Middlebrook. Mancinos is on the far end past the grocery store.
