Re: Bristol pro/champ events

As others have said, thanks to all that had a hand in getting this done. I know Jeff was scrambling everywhere. Great courses as well!

Personally, I'm ready to get back to events we aren't hosting. [emoji38]

Re: Bristol pro/champ events

If you haven't ever done one, I highly recommend it. They will also have a class to get you familiar with the tree and format. They are my favorite of all the national events.

Thanks for the reminder. I just signed up for Monday 9-10 am. Will probably get an Evo spot too.

Re: Peru Pro

I thought both courses were fun at Peru. Ran the whole thing in 2nd on the right side. It was definitely thread the needle but if you got the line right you could definitely carry more speed than you thought.

Re: Peru Pro

Read the SCCA Covid document before going to Zmax. Many kept masks around and were wearing them in grid and impound.

Re: June 7th Event 2

I get it. That's the way I have done them as well. I was poking fun at the comment that, if I do another course like that I'm changing the gear. Obviously, the rest of us have no clue what the course will be.

Re: June 7th Event 2

If I do another of this type.. I'll have my 3.55 gear instead of the 3.09 Steve and I were way under powered out of the corners. Data had me top speed at 61mph headed out toward the far left hander between the offsets. waaaaay under my current gear power range. I wish I could change diff ratios for...

Re: June 7th Event 2

There were a chunk of DNFs in the 3rd run group as well. The only thing I can figure is it was the back section closest to the creek. They were being called in before they got to the lights. The visuals back there were tough for me as well. I found myself picking up the wrong key cone in the hard le...

Re: Track night in america

I canceled as well. My next one might be NCM at the TTNats. We'll see how it all sorts out. Kinda bummed. I was looking forward to AMP.
