Re: Autocross accidents

Are these rates on stated value? Does it cover track too? Time Trials? It's agreed value. No it doesn't cover track events or time trials, gotta get a separate policy for that. It also doesn't cover the car while it's being towed to and from events if it's a street licensed vehicle, only during the...

Re: Autocross accidents

I think it's either $1000 or $2000 if I recall correctly

Re: Autocross accidents

I'll be getting it for mine next year. I quickly quoted mine without a lot of modifications, which they cover too and it was about $400 for the year.

Re: Are you using data and video?

Yea I always do too. But mine wasn't even giving any lights to show it was turned on even though I charged it the day before. And of course I left the cord to charge it at home.... I didn't get anything. My gps apparently either didn't like the cold or the tumble it took off the dash to the floorboa...

Definitely made the right call. I hate bailing after morning runs, which I often seem to do there.

Re: Are you using data and video?

Heck I tried switching to the tablet internal gps and it wouldn't pick it up either. Kept giving me the waiting on gps screen. You can use the gps on the tablet but it doesn't refresh as fast as the other one and yes you can just use solo storm on the tablet and if you have the obd2 you can get limi...

Re: Are you using data and video?

I didn't get anything. My gps apparently either didn't like the cold or the tumble it took off the dash to the floorboards. Which leads me to ask, is there a way to get video and obd data without the gps working?

Re: Huntsville Sunday

I'm probably leaving out from my place around 430. But it's faster for me to take 27 down to Chattanooga vs 75.

Re: Trailer rental

Just curious.... what were they doing? You pretty much just hook a septic drain line up, open the valve on the camper, and let it drain out, right? Yep, but they didn't open the drain line all the way. They took the sucker hose from the truck to the camper where my septic hose was attached and only...

Re: Are you using data and video?

Not for that event, but I have compared data between runs at national events where you have more time. And it's infinitely easier to compare to someone using the same tablet in the same car. Couldn't really do between runs only after runs. None of us were versed enough to pull it up quickly between....

Re: Are you using data and video?

I run both video and data on the tablet but I find the data more useful for me than the video. Whether comparing my own runs or like we did at Zmax between others, I get more from it than straight video. And as Chris said the angle from the tablet isn't really good for looking at certain things. I d...

plus... not wanting to deal with flushing the black tank there or having to get water thru the week. I've heard horror stories about the tank flushes going bad with the porta john guys not knowing RVs well for that kinda thing. Yes I don't let Porta John guys pump my tanks. Watched them attempt to ...
