Cool. It is an old flat 4 from a '67 Porsche so it will sit nice on the pallet. I'll probably just ratchet strap it on, and wrap in a few trash bags and packing tape just to keep things together.

Shipping an engine
So I am shipping an engine across the country and have to packag it up. Do most people just strap it to a pallet or should it be crated?
I was thinking just strap it to a pallet.
Where can I get that industrial type strapping/banding?

hahah, No rust?? hahahahhahah I've had two of these cars, and I would put money on the floor pan near the pedal box, rockers, and possibly the spare tire well to be rusty.
