The car is primarily going to be a HPDE/track day/time trials car, but may see a bit of street time too. The seat must be designed for use with a five point harness at the minimum. Right now still getting the turbo parts together but will be looking to buy some seats in a couple of months. Was reall...

Most comfortable seat???
Looking for opinions on a comfortable race seat that would be legal for HPDE's, track days & time trials. Will be running 600 lb springs at the minimum on front and stiffer on the rear. Wish there was a place in the area that kept a decent selection so a person could test-sit in them.

Re: Need turbo goodies...
Yup....planning to run somewhere around 14 to 16 lbs. Although I'm sure it will see a few auto-x's I really want to do some HPDE/track day/time trials type of events too...at least until I scare the crap outta myself once or twice anyways!

Re: Been awhile...
Thanks for the welcome back gents! So far.... Been working on the head for the last few weeks porting it out. I did most of the rough stuff & then had a shop "clean it up" along with a 3-angle valve job. Just received the extrude honed intake manifold, larger t-body, new cams, forged r...

Been awhile...
Hey all, Well hope to see you guys again at some point this year. Just noticed there is already a proposed schedule up...that's awesome and some good venues too! The schedule looks to be much better than PSCC over & over. After I had ruined my motor the last time the car has been sitting for the...

Re: To shave, or not to shave...
Fwiw...I got about the same tire mileage from my 1st set of RE-01's (unshaved) as I did from my 2nd set (shaved to 4/32") and the wear was more even across the tire on the shaved set. The main difference I noticed was driving at hwy speeds when it was raining out.
