Waitlist for event 1

I pre-registered for the March 4th test-and-tune session a week or two ago and was put on the waitlist. When should I expect to hear back about it? It seems likely that spots won't open up unless people don't show up on Saturday morning. Should I just show up, just in case? Thanks. (Edit: I want to ...

WTB used 225-50-15 tires

I need to put more rubber on the rear of my car to tame some constant oversteer. Does anybody have some used 225-50-15s that they want to get rid of? I only need two for the test fit (I've got 205s on the car right now), but if you have four for a good price, I'm game.

Thanks.

Robert, the brakes are as "fixed" as they are going to get! (Thanks for asking)

Re: Race tire changers in the tri-cities

I second K&K. I've had them mount a bunch of tires and have had no troubles with them.

Great Bristol event!

I just wanted to say thanks to the club for a great event. The course was fast and fun and I appreciate all of the tips I got to help me to get the old beastie under control. Thanks again!

Don't forget the 2005 USGP, when Ferrari refused to allow any changes to the course over the Michellin Tire flap. I attended all the USGP races at Indy, save the first and last. The 2005 debacle resulted in a near-riot in the stands. Really ugly. That said, Bridgestone had a point in their favor: t...

Wanted: first-gen MR2 seats

It's been rumored that MR2 seats fit my car, and I'd like to find one or two of them at a reasonable price. My driver's seat broke during an autocross in Ohio last month, and before going to the trouble of repairing it, then reupholstering it I figured I'd try another option. Thanks.

I probably daily-drive my car about 1/3 of the time, except during the winter. It's none-too-good over the bumps, but it's fun at the same time.

I've got four kids. The minivan is a huge improvement in quality of life over our old Taurus wagon.

Over time the shifts got harder and harder, until each shift was like a two-by-four smacking you in the head. I am good with maintenance, but maybe a trans cooler would help. I expect that I will have to get it rebuilt again before 200K

Ody transmissions are fragile. The trans in my '99 lasted 95K. The wheel bearings are also weak. I had to replace the front bearings and hubs at 75K. The extended warranty was so worth it for this car!
