reasonably priced Seat Time

This is an event going on in Franklin NC this weekend. Think autocross where you get 10-15 laps at a time or short session track day on an autocross size course. You will get at least 40 minutes of driving time in each half day. It's an amazing way to improve your driving and a ton of fun. https://w...

Re: Event 7 after action

The Dual Cross was a blast. A very different experience from a regular autox. Different pressure, different driving style because of the cone rule. Some teething pains but the important stuff worked. The course was fun, the class offsets seemed to work well. John Brown FLIES in that monster of his. ...

Re: Helmet Confusion

I wasn't complaining just making sure she could use her helmet in the future. It has the stitched in label and we printed out a copy of the SCCA sheet linked above. I don't think it will be an issue in the future. I really enjoy your events and appreciate the people that take the time to make them r...

Helmet Confusion

My wife bought a new helmet and it came with the ECE 22.05 certification not a Snell certification. She wasn't allowed to use the helmet. I looked up the SCCA rules this morning, and the ECE 22.05 certification is on the list of Eligible Helmets for 2019. I want to know if the helmet is OK if its on...

One more thing, anybody know the story behind the cool convertible Fiat that went the wrong way on the course?

Re: first event 2019

Great course, and great weather. A nice way to kick off the season. Not sure who built the course but they used the lot well and obviously thought about using the elevation changes to make it more fun. Never been to an event with a tractor with a sweeper and blower moving water off the lot before. A...

Anybody want to rent me a seat for a RallyX?

I really want to try RallyX. I don't want to build a car just to find out my old body (60) won't deal with it well.

I had to give up racing dirt bikes to age after 30 years.

I started doing some AutoX but I miss the dirt.

Anyway, if I could try it it would be nice.
