Re: Flat Rock USA to replace OR Motorsports Park

Does anyone know if they plan to actually open the track up to SCCA, NASA, HPDE groups, etc? Last I heard there was a 6 figure buy in fee and yearly dues to "join" and they weren't interested in hosting HPDE events. My understanding is it was a high end country club with a track on it. I w...

Re: Schools

I attended ETR school in 2019 or 2020 - I got 20+ runs and a good amount of seat time with a local driver (forget who it was, sorry). He helped me find a ton of time and helped me with my technique. It's the only one I have experience with, but it is an exceptional deal. I wound up getting involved ...

I picked up a ND2 miata over the winter and already bought a set of RT660's. I was planning on going with RE-71R/RE-71RS, but I can buy 5-6 RT660s for the price of 4 RE-71's. I've never used RT660's before but I've heard good things about them. There's a good comparison chart on Grassroots Motorspor...

Thanks for a great first season!

I will be unable to make the final events of the year due to schedule conflicts, but just wanted to say I had a great time running with everyone and had a great first “season” doing auto-x’ing with you guys. Met several nice people and learned a lot. I plan on being back next season for sure. I love...

Another newbie classing question

Hi all, Another newbie here signing up for the Autocross School in Bristol this weekend. I think I'm in STR class based on what I understand from the rulebook. I have an 04 Miata with aftermarket wheels/tires (15x8 +25 with 225/45 tires). No other mods. I tried registering as Novice, but it requires...
