Re: Nt555r's for autocross?

If you can find a set of RE71R's or Rival S 1.5's, you'd be much better off.

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Nationals. Assume no new tires/car prep cause you like autocross and care how you do outside of nats. $195 - entry fee $200 - fuel (assume 30 mpg, $3/gallon in your sensible dual purpose car) $50 - 1 T&T session $200 - hotel (assume 4-5 nights, splitting room) $100 - figure about food/drink/entertai...

Touche
For me, I don't otherwise travel and I'm not really a beach person, so if I don't go, I'd just go to work an extra week. And bank a bit of PTO that I'd eventually cash out and put in savings and not touch.

So there really isn't a lot of opportunity cost in me going.

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Between all the headaches and extra money grabbing, i wonder at what point will Nats just cease to be worth the trouble. As long as other people do it, it is probably worth it. I mean, registering is a pain, but then you register and that's over. Cars and parts and travel cost so much that I think ...

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Really needs to be divided into two things - event critical registration (Class/Car/Work) Then a separate registration for all the other crap like banquets, paddock, and asking me if I'd like to subscribe to the stupid Tire Rack Newsletter. Also, it would probably be helpful if MSR went to a single...

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed

Took me 45 seconds... Some people got in right at 7. I tried at 7 and couldn't get the page to load, had to take care of some things, tried again maybe around when you did and it still took 30+ minutes. It was frozen at 11xx, so I was starting to fear that it'd fill. And I didn't dare fool with pad...

I’ll help sell tickets in morning hours and will be available to take a time slot in waivers if needed.
You want to grab a pair of these slots for waivers?

Re: Time Trial Nationals at NCM late Sept.

Y'all coming to the track? Hell yeah! I think my car goes into unlimited or something silly since I don't have a center console [emoji38] But NCM is always a good time! edit: Oh this is SCCA TT Nationals, nvm I won't take up a slot in unlimited with my 135rwhp miata. Wuss. I'm taking my 120 hp Focu...
