Anything abnormal with the stock configuration?

With the Spyder, the inlet and outlet on the stock muffler are both on the same side. If you want to stick with that configuration, options are pretty limited. I went with a Magnaflow. 14210, I think. They have some 2 in 2 out options, too.

Kinda at the point where the Spyder won't be fun unless I'm in the mix to win. Don't really want to be there. Waiting to see what the spec tire will be for SSC... Always working on the driver.... last year, it was work on a 3 run strategy. This year, I'm working on braking and getting closer to cone...

Re: helmet size and car numbers.

Yup. Bodystyles originating up to 1989 run CAM-T, so that's where a 3rd gen or a fox body would go....

Re: helmet size and car numbers.

I just want to add that I bought/returned a RaceQuip helmet last year. I didn't fit that helmet at all. Way too tight up top, way too loose in the face area.

Re: Newbie couple questions...

STM is our local street tire catch all. Run 200TW and beyond that, rules are pretty much free. The car likely fits into a national ST class (can't remember if the 370Z moved from STR to STU for '18 or not), but the rules are kind of specific regarding cats and camber kits and a few things. I recomm...

Re: Veloce Has Closed.

I was down to 3 races in my bank, so not too bad. I know that Cathers and Jed got gift cards for Christmas. Probably a lot of others, too....

A lot of the general public posts on the WATE page are pretty negative towards it, though I think that is pretty standard for any public post.

Re: Question from a Newbie

Assuming you have an otherwise complete interior, your car sounds like SMF. It is the same as Street Modified, but for FWD. You also have the option of "bumping up" and running SM, SSM, or XP. You'll generally run against much faster cars in those classes. Another option is a local street tire class...
