Re: Best shops for services (Alignment, Tire Mounting, etc.)

Any recommendations for a shop that can repair a sagging headliner? The wife hopped in the Cayman yesterday and the whole thing is sagging with zero warning. Thanks. No recent personal experience, but I had some work done by Charlie's off Clinton Highway years ago and it was good. Shop looks like a...

Re: Axis and Allies 4-5 Dec

Tiny chance I'll go last minute, but seat taken if so.

I'm about 98% certain that I'm done for the year.

Re: Event 9

I know that at least some of the chairs target an hour and a half. I think the event Sunday was pretty efficient. Reruns didn't seem bad. We had a longer gap between runs than I think we target and probably should have done 5 runs as a result (from a course worker perspective). It was a beautiful da...

Re: 2021 solo nationals

It is the best. You can get in a ton of practice runs (I didn't do any this year as I was trying to conserve tire, but I got 25+ in both 2017 and 2018). It is like nats, but it is a lot more laid back with 300 people instead of 1200. And school is out and you aren't dealing with 100k Nebraska footba...

Re: 2021 solo nationals

The longer that I autocross, the less certain I am about what it takes to prepare for Lincoln. Lincoln grip is all over the place. It was wildly different from the Finale to Nats for me. And of course we ran Spring Nats in totally different conditions. Bristol is a fantastic site and we are blessed ...

Re: 2021 solo nationals

Jason Collett also took 5th in XP.

And a couple of our visitors at events this year also won - Charles Krampert AS, Alex Piehl DS, and Ginette Jordan FSPL, with several others trophying.

Re: Nationals paddock group

Jed and I are running STX, Eric is in S1, and it looks like Mr Ward and Mr Vrooman are signed up in CAM.

So it looks like Eastern TN is well represented for the pro. :)

NNJR is a great region. Their events pull people from all over the east coast.

Re: Event 8 after action

No complaints from an organizational standpoint.

Middle sections run up and back were boring/frustrating (from a gearing perspective), but I REALLY liked what we did on the showcase.
