Re: 2021 solo nationals

It is the best. You can get in a ton of practice runs (I didn't do any this year as I was trying to conserve tire, but I got 25+ in both 2017 and 2018). It is like nats, but it is a lot more laid back with 300 people instead of 1200. And school is out and you aren't dealing with 100k Nebraska footba...

Re: 2021 solo nationals

The longer that I autocross, the less certain I am about what it takes to prepare for Lincoln. Lincoln grip is all over the place. It was wildly different from the Finale to Nats for me. Re: 2021 solo nationals

Jason Collett also took 5th in XP.

And a couple of our visitors at events this year also won - Charles Krampert AS, Alex Piehl DS, and Ginette Jordan FSPL, with several others trophying.

Re: Nationals paddock group

Jed and I are running STX, Eric is in S1, and it looks like Mr Ward and Mr Vrooman are signed up in CAM.

So it looks like Eastern TN is well represented for the pro. :)

Re: Event 8 after action

No complaints from an organizational standpoint.

Middle sections run up and back were boring/frustrating (from a gearing perspective), but I REALLY liked what we did on the showcase.

Re: Event #4

Rife, Reward? you mean a fast straight after the salom ends? or a separate faster transitional element after it ends? Anything that would let you actually carry throttle through the end of the slalom. Even an extra 75 feet before the turnaround would have made that course a LOT more fun for me. .. ...

Re: Event #4

It was fun to get out and get some runs and get a chance to play with shocks. It would have been nice to have a reward after the slalom, but I'm just happy to get a slalom. I thought the course was really challenging. As far as fun runs, we did them pretty frequently when our core lived close to our...
