Another possibility is that you're not smelling oil, but you're smelling axle grease from a failed CV axle.

You might have an oil leak that normally drips onto the ground, but when cornering it drips on your exhaust. Just a guess, but I'd check & top off your oil level often until you get it figured out. I think we have a Winner. I can't think of any other reason you'd smell it intermittently. If you...

Man, that Stumble has been the BIGGEST B I T C H!!! I've been able to "Daily-Drive" it All Along, but as close as we run, it was Worthless for a Race. It was FINALLY "SOLVED" (Cross Fingers) about 6 weeks ago. I had an Unloaded Dump Truck Crowd me into the Median. I was West-Boun...

This may start an interesting debate: digital vs. "old school" I confess that I really had no clue about alignments until I met you all and started doing this "parking lot racing" stuff. Since then I've learned alot about what is going on although caster still confuses me sisnce...

If you want a REAL Alignment, take it to Pete's in Downtown K'Ville. NO Digital! ALL "Old School". MUCH More Accurate and Precise. With an alignment, "Digital" is a "Convenience Issue". It's really easy to throw it in and "Ballpark it". MOST Factory Specs have...

Nice event Trey! Good job with the first one. I couldn't find anymore time out there on course yesterday for some reason. From looking at my results I was stuck on the some times? Is this normal? Is that all my car would do? I was definitly getting frustrated not being able to shave ANY time off. M...

I Definitely had wheelspin issues from the exit of the circle to the Finish.

Some Focaljet.com buddies ran a Tercel. They'd have done better except some idiot in a Demo-Derby car nailed them in the front side, so they had to replace a strut. Nonetheless, many great pics and lots of apparent comraderie among the cooler competitors. I think it's Hilarious that Car and Driver e...

Anybody who is spending more than $95 per tire in an ST class deserves to Win on principle alone. I refuse to spend over $80 per tire, and forget "Shaving" for an ST Class in a Non-Nationals car. Mr Wiser, if you choose to go all out for next season, be aware that you are bringing a big gu...

The "Tires to Have" should be the same in ANY "ST" Class, unless I'm somehow confused.

They are THE Stickiest "Street" Auto-X tire. That said, they will wear accordingly, so, though your mileage may vary, don't expect them to last more than 15-18k miles MAX. They Grip Great in Wet or Dry, but their "Hydroplane Resistance" is less than ideal for cruising at 70 in st...
