Re: O2 sensor simulator

What kind of car is it? That will help determine which o2 sim you need. If you don't want to spend all day getting under the car, unbolting the cat presuming it is flanged, and wiring in a o2 sim then you can always just order a replacement universal cat http://www.amazon.com/Magna-Universal-Catalyt...

Re: Need help choosing coilover spring rates

It all depends on how serious you are as well. Am I going to do it from day one...no. Will I do it when I have access or buy my own scales? yes.

Re: Need help choosing coilover spring rates

You need to find a place with scales, undo your sway bars and prepare to do a lot of adjusting to get it right.

Here is the best site for information on autox. This is the section on corner weights and the process

Re: Possible place in Elizabethton

I am not sure personally. The admin of another forum was telling me about it as we were discussing autox issues in the area. He said it had a big lot but that sounds awful small. I am going to be taking a trip to elizabethton sometime this week and will try to get a personal view of it.

Possible place in Elizabethton

This is supposed to be a good lot. It has been vacant for several years.

Re: Need help choosing coilover spring rates

That is interesting. In a dsm you put heavier springs in the front and no more than 400# in the rear. Must be weight distribution and power split in the diff is the difference.

Re: Let's talk corner weight w/ springs (not coilovers) & sw

Koni's or blisteins if you can get them for your car. GC kit is good. If you go with different spring rates in the future order hypercoils instead of eibach springs. The hypercoils go through better quality control and tend to match better.
