Re: Are you using data and video?

I was curious about Solostorm but the size of the 8" tablet running it and taking video would slow me down from all that added wind resistance.... :?

Re: Wanted to Borrow: Little wheel/tire

Universal donor rims will be VW 4x100. Unless it is or has type R pattern. VW and Honda/Acura is all that will fit without modifications. Ball seat lug nuts should be standard on both VW & Honda.

Re: Today

I noticed in Chris's MIL video he was NOT looking where the car was pointed. I did not drive the course but state that as evidence of needing to look farther ahead than the front bumper of the car.

sorry I missed the event. :-(

I can help with sound or be back up for Ted... grid, corner chief/worker, etc.
If you want to handle sound, thank you.

I'm out unless someone needs a tire warmer. Van voltage hit 17.6 volts on the test drive yesterday. Not gonna risk frying anything more than what's been friend already. :?

Re: 2018 Nationals

I had at least one run on each course that was an absolute blast, so I had fun. Surprising since the kart wasn't running until after I got there and I was still working on it Thursday morning. Life gets in the way of fun, or at least the prep work. Both Pilson and I were wrenching on vehicles around...

Re: 2018 Nationals

Some things ended up in my van from Nationals let me know if it is yours: 1) a bag of free candy... big, fluffy, looks sweet. 2) a pot holder 3) red knife sheath 4) rusty nut driver for magnetic 1/4" drive Fill in some details and I will try and get the stuff back to you. I'm not completely unpacked...
