Do we have an obligation to keep the playlist clean since it's being played by the club, not just one of us? With respect to the presence of kids and whatnot.
:lol2: "Bring Your Whole Crew" is usually on my "pump" list.

Re: New Wheel Reconmendations

On the subject of the Forgestars, have any of you tried to get Forgestar to honor their warranty, or are you just taking Sam's no as a final answer? According to the website, Forgestar has an express warranty of one year that they are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Its not unusual f...

Nice. N54?
Yup. One owner 2008 135i with 56,000 miles on the odo. Only negative I've found on her is an open Takata air bag recall.

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I let the M3 go - too many issues. I settled on this secretary special out of Texas - should be here in a week or so. Its supposed to have hair dryers under the hood or something. At least its black. https://scontent.fbna1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/34509128_10...

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

Classic car advice thread. Literally everyone with kids and some without were like "forget the two door". LOL I don't listen. Honestly, I appreciate the advice but when I was kid our family cars were: 1) 1978 Camaro w/ a 350; 2) 1980 Buick Skyhawk; 3) 1983 Olds Cutlass Calais; 4)1985 Olds Toronado;...

Isn't James Baker one? I share a floor with one and he does good work, but he is not cheap.

Make sure your shop uses BE bearings if it comes to that. No point going back with stock if you're that far in.
Yeah, that price contemplated that.

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

Have you considered the Cadillac CTS with manual transmission. A friend bought one several years ago to replace his corvette daily driver and loved it. I was a nice ride but gas millage was not great. They are on my radar screen but hard to find. Edit: the V model anyway. My mother has a 14-15 cts ...

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

It's even worse. Run away. Fwiw, my pick would be a 6spd e90 328i, but I don't mind having <300hp. DCT seems reliable if you keep up with fluid changes, every 50k I think. I still prefer 6spds, though. SMG is terrible....drives like your girlfriend who lied and said she knew how to drive stick. 10-...

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

The s65 rod bearings should be done every 80k unless you REALLY like pain. Otherwise, the cars are pretty solid and a lot of fun. I'd probably steer you towards an LCI e90 335. The n55 seems a lot more solid than the n54, but there are still the typical "German" issues to consider. You really can't...

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions

no gear hunt in the 6.4s.. totally different programming. but if ya wanna shift in a DD... do it. :) This. I have owned both a 5.7 and a 6.4, both with the 8 speeds. They act like completely different transmissions. The 6.4 almost knows exactly what gear you want to be in. But if you really hate au...
