Re: Jan 4th meeting

We are down to one car (capable of hauling the child) so I'm out since I'll have to leave around 7:00pm anyway to get Kaitlyn home in time for bed. Feel free to call me if you all need me.

Re: WTB: LS6, LS2, LS3, L76

Are the 5.3 blocks still iron or did GM finally start making them out of aluminum? Not in the market, just curious.

Re: WTB: LS6, LS2, LS3, L76

If you go the 6.2 route let me know - I still have my notes shoving one into a 4th gen and its a little more complicated than just dropping a new crate LS6 in. You also need to to work on some oiling upgrades for what you want to do. I'd check LS1 tech out - I scored my "fell off a train" ...

Re: Looking for a car

Don't get me wrong, I love my E92 M3. However parts mark up on those things is ridiculous especially compared to the Mustang. If mine wasn't a "poverty pack" model and didn't have the CF roof (laugh all you want) I would have gone the Mustang route myself. If you the V8 M3 route, don't for...

Re: Nov meeting

I'm fine moving the meeting if folks want to vote and can't make it - but speaking for myself - I already voted.

Re: Covid 19

I'm excited that it will soon be socially acceptable to wander into a grocery store wearing a balaclava.

I'm about to get buried in bankruptcy cases.

Otherwise, I have nothing else to contribute.

Work as usual, just having to alternate staying home with my wife since our daycare has been shut down for two weeks and my parents can't watch the little one.

I'm sorry Steve, that sarcasm is unacceptable. I'm going to have to report this infraction to HR.

Re: Can anyone comment on the Nitto NT05 or any other 200 TW tire?

I wish these last few tire recommendations came in my size options. None really come close without stepping up to a 19" diameter, which I am not interested in. As for the Timken bearings, I need to talk to my coworker. I could have sworn he worked for Timken here in the states. That doesn't me...

Re: Can anyone comment on the Nitto NT05 or any other 200 TW tire?

When the 4gen Camaros were poplar in ESP, those cars ate hubs. My impression was that people felt junkyard hubs were more reliable than the Timken replacements. The stock GM units were the best, I'm running a set of those know. When they fail, I'm going the Strano route. I have in my garage all the...
