Re: Stolen MR2

I'll see if I can get pics of the car. Like I said, it wasn't anything special overall, but he really enjoyed it.

Stolen MR2

Someone stole my friend's MR2 from his driveway last night. He lives in Karns. I've seen the car previously, and it wasn't in great shape, but he's seriously down about losing it. I don't know the year, but it was a first generation. Red paint. It probably got shipped out of the area and/or chopped ...

Re: Official SEDiv II Event April 11 & 12 Register Now

I'm out of this event. I was trying to finish putting the car back together this week, was cleaning up all of the junk around the lower front of the engine, and found that my harmonic balancer had nearly completely separated. With all of the junk that mounts to the front of the engine, it couldn't b...

Re: I need to cancel out of the 3/22 event

Thanks. When I tried to cancel out of the Test and Tune, a few weeks back, it wouldn't let me do it. Will review the process and determine how if it comes up again.

I'll most likely be at the April event.

I need to cancel out of the 3/22 event

I need to cancel out of this weekend's event.

I registered but didn't pay. Do I just no show or do I need to actually get someone to cancel me out of this weekend's event?

I have a conflict with Sunday AM; thought I could get someone to take my place but that didn't work out.

Thanks,

Mark N

Re: Solo2 work to do...

Good info; I'll keep it in mind for future seasons. Since the 315R35-17 Hoosiers are $360 a piece, I may stick with the AFS wheels for now even though they are heavier. Thanks.

Re: event 1... in the books!

Thank you for the well laid out course and the event overall. I didn't do very well, but it's good to be back at it.

Re: Solo2 work to do...

What brand wheels do people usually go with? I have some AFS Grand Sport style 11 inch wheels, but I expect they are heavier than the OEM wheels. The OEM wheels have the wrong back space so I don't want to just use them. Go with my AFS wheels or try to find some racing wheels?

Solo2 work to do...

Well after the first event, I can see I have a lot of work to do on the driver and the car since I was close to the bottom. I'm sure this was mostly driver issues but the car was skating around seriously as well. I've managed to connect to the old BSPVette email list gang now living on the Corvette ...

Only cancel my test and tune entry. I still plan to be at the Sunday race.

Thanks,

Re: Event 1 is on for this weekend

Still has the emission equipment. I looked around and didn't find much detail on the CAM class so that's good info. I may yet get a set of Hoosiers for this year. In the meantime, I'll just run what I brung and stay in BSP while I sort things out. Will have to look at STU rules to see what's there. ...

Re: Event 1 is on for this weekend

I am planning to make the Sunday event #1 but would like to cancel out of the Saturday test & tune to work on the car itself. How do I cancel from an event on the registration site? And when I tried to register for Test&Tune, the site told me that I was over the 40 entry limit, but I show up...

Interested and count me in but I'm still having trouble getting the car together. Weather the last couple of weeks didn't help.

Re: new approach to video runs

Why did I have a gut feeling that there would be some kind of rule against this?

So per the links a tethered dirigible with the same auto-tracking camera technology would be ok?
