Re: Equipment Setup Crew Recruits Wanted
I wouldn't mind helping out with this. My only issue is that I tend to only make 7 to 8 events per year.

Re: Anyone going to Daytona for the 24 hour race?
I'll be there as well. We tend to mill around the GRM area on Friday before watching the support race. I've always liked watching the cars pull out onto the grid before the race. Checking out the paddock area after dark is also pretty cool.

Thanks Walter. Yeah I'm pretty sure i'm going to run STS next year. It should be really competitive.

Chattanooga is not in our region so that one won't count towards an ETR championship.

Re: Solo Nationals in current R&T
from the article "Willwood sells this as a motorcycle caliper. Even though the brakes don't work well, they work well enough" I had to read that a few times to make sure of what I was reading. Apparently a national prep CSP miata doesn't really need much stopping power. Even with 180 rwhp ...

What type of PLC do you need programmed? Need a regular full time guy or is it just some project work?

Re: Hey guys....think about a Miata......which one?
If you're just looking to run locally you probably want to get an NA (90-97) and set it up to run STS. You can get ridiculous amounts of info from miata.net about STS car setups. ES and STR really don't have consistent competition.

Re: Miata Battery
$133? WTF? I paid $50 for an autozone special. I swear its the same battery my dad uses in his riding lawnmower. That was pretty much my response hence my need for recommendations. You got an AGM battery for $50? If you're gonna spend that kind of money, a good light-weight battery would be the way...

Miata Battery
Any recommendations for replacement battery? Local Mazda dealer wants $133. Autozone has one for $95 (but it's not a Westco or Deka).
Thanks,
