255/50/16 Hankook Z214 (DOT-R). These are several years old with well over 100 runs on them. All of them still have 2 grooves showing and are wore down to the wear bar and 1 is corded.

Just a leap of logic here, but wouldn't replacing the rotors and having them turned off the car yield effectively the same result because neither approach takes the hub into account? The manual for the RX8 says to only turn the rotors while on the car. Does anyone know if this is necessary? I would be tempted to just replace the rotors before taking the car somewhere.
