Re: FS: 2002 C5 Z06
Is he buying just the car, or the trailer too? Not that I have any need for a trailer... I'd hate the thought of how many spare parts, tools, and cargo we could transport to a lemons race in that thing... way too convenient. Just the car. And he's only able to take some of the small spares that I h...

Re: FS: 2002 C5 Z06
Sounds like it is probably legit, but I would make sure your bank confirms that the funds are really in hand and cannot be yanked/bounced later. Yes, no doubt. I will be talking to my bank about the deal. I want to make sure they have enough time to confirm the money before the car exchanges owners...

Re: FS: 2002 C5 Z06
I was skeptical at first because of all the horror stories and scams seen all over the internet. But this guy seems pretty legit. We have exchanged at least 15 emails and he asked very specific details and has been very consistent with everything he has mentioned. We spoke on the phone last night (w...

Re: ETRSCCA Tagline/Slogan
I think we need to advertise the affordability of SCCA Solo competition... "ETRSCCA.. the gateway to affordable Motorsports" or whatever variation of this meaning... everybody has a different assumption of what "Motorsports" means to them.. let them see it and make their own opi...

Re: Time Trial Shenanigans.
Aero was going to be my next suggestion for you... just wasn't sure if that was something you would be willing to do to the car. To get the full benefit of aero, you really need a wing and a splitter. The splitter isn't good for street driving (like speed bumps and inclined driveways). It would cert...

Re: Time Trial Shenanigans.
Richard, I know we've discussed this before and it looks like you've done well your first few times out in TT. Going to Hoosier A6's is the biggest gain you'll see on the track. And it's good that you're still in TTB and I know you wouldn't want to bump up to TT3 since that class is big $$$. Since y...

Then I don't see how you would like a Foxbody any better.

Re: Thoughts on selling (parting out?) the CRX
I've read your posts on here and over on RR/AX and I still don't really have a good suggestion for you to take a look at. I just can't see a Foxbody being competitive in any class unless it's a prepped or street prepped class but that's $$$. Might be fun to drive around on the streets but it won't b...

Nelson's Ledge is a very rough track. I'm sure John was talking about it and Summit.

I have some 315/35-17's... but no more 295's. And that's about as big as you can run like Jon said.
