Re: FS: 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE
A few pics are here . It's located just outside of Fountain City. It started and ran well back when I parked it over a decade ago, but I guarantee it won't start right now without some TLC. I would not try to start it without at least a full fluid & filter change, spark plug replacement, new fue...

Re: Feeler - 85 CRX Si
A younger me would have said 'no problem' without a second thought. The 914 had no air (or real heat) and I survived just fine.
I won't disqualify it just yet, but these days I often get cranky when I'm hot and uncomfortable.

Maybe, but I don't know much about these. Would it be suitable as a dd for a 6'-3" dude?
I'm thinking about finding something with better fuel mileage than my truck. Fun cars are definitely appealing.

Re: Miata & STI Street Tire Question
For the Miata, those Toyos look like the way to go. For the STI, you might look at General Exclaim UHPs. I got a set for the Miata years ago after daily driving Azenis sports for a few months. These were marketed as a high performance summer tire with a better treadwear and had great ratings on Tire...

Re: Need course setup recruits (volunteers needed)
Mark, I know I've been AWOL since I let the Miata go, but I keep telling myself I'll bring the RX-7 or 914 back to life and get back out there. I'm willing to jump in and lend a hand to course setup while I procrastinate on reviving them.

Listing this for a co-worker. It would probably make a good light hauler or winter transportation for someone. His contact info is in the ad.

Re: Very slick today BE CAREFUL
I concur. I wandered out on recon and some roads had just enough traffic to compress the snow into nothing more than a sheet of ice. Most are slush, but some are VERY slick ... worse than I've seen it in a while.

Re: Flying around...
I'm not sure, but I think KPD and KCSD share use of this facility, so County Mayor may have some influence. A retired KCSD friend of my parents took us to the shooting range on a number of weekends a couple of years ago, so county definitely has (had?) access. I remember seeing this and thinking wha...
