I'm also planning on that TT event at Road Atlanta. CMP is up in the air for me..... got a lot going on between April-June.

Re: Potential Hillclimb in ETR
Brad lives in Western NC so he can't make the meeting tonight
Brad is good people, he's a stand up guy!
I'd do my best to participate in this event as well

Re: Another ProSolo site gone
Damn..... we're trending towards the theory that I and others have wondered. Actually, I think I've had this convo with Harp  . We continue to lose auto-x sites, so SCCA is investing more into TT and track-cross. I think this is good direction to expand out to, the market is there even more so ...

Re: CAM Classes suck. Why would anyone want to be in one?
I would kill the current classes with dying car counts. So that would NOT be SSM/SM/XP, right?

If they introduce additional classes they need to remove that many if not more.
C.U.M. would totally be dominated by current XP/SSM cars on street tires. Has the SEB actually announced anything in regards to this, I haven't kept up with Fastrack.

Fast time and good lines from Jimmy here: https://youtu.be/qYJtDMs6Ugc
Much slower pace, but more time to look at the marks?! : https://youtu.be/uWqzme4VHSg
I'd like to back soon with less weight and aero.

Re: Motorsports Reg crashed
Between all the headaches and extra money grabbing, i wonder at what point will Nats just cease to be worth the trouble. Did nats once, won't be back. If I'm trying to drop nats coin on racing then i'd rather get into track. My last nats experience was not what I'd call enjoyable. What's the coin v...

Re: Time Trial Nationals at NCM late Sept.
You're guna take your focus instead of the vette to the corvette track?!?! Yup. I have zero track experience and I would much rather risk bending a $3k Focus than a Corvette that I have wanted since they are new. Once I have more experience, I might take the 'vette. I completely understand, j...

Re: Time Trial Nationals at NCM late Sept.
Y'all coming to the track? Hell yeah! I think my car goes into unlimited or something silly since I don't have a center console [emoji38] But NCM is always a good time! edit: Oh this is SCCA TT Nationals, nvm I won't take up a slot in unlimited with my 135rwhp miata. Wuss. I'm taking my 120 hp Focu...

Re: Do you need a Big Wáng?
Can you provide analysis for multiple element wangs that would be used for a FSAE car? I know one that needs some vertical down force assistance, front and rear. But then they are in the envelope of beggars. Yes....... https://9livesracing.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fcfd-wind-tunnel&page=1&...

Re: Do you need a Big Wáng?
We've got CFD data on the wang with the dual element @ 60mph. That's the closest speeds we have for auto-x. https://9livesracing.com/cfd-testing Note, more angle does not always mean more down-force. The Elan foil(the foil we've tooled) by itself actually stalls right above 8* AOA. With the dual ele...
