Fun course - despite the bumps and hills I always liked Pelli as a local site. Its proximity to west knoxville brought a lot of new people to the sport, myself included. First autox I ever attended was Pelli in STM class.

I think everyone is running the 335 rear/315 front rivals. Don't they make brass valve guides that people are dropping in for SSR/AS which takes care of the issue? Email Sam Strano if you get a chance, Dave. IMO if the guides are relatively cheap, fix the issue, and don't offer a performance advanta...

One of the jets I fly is going to California the following weekend, and the DO promised me a weekend in Knox soon. Hopefully I end up down there.

Yessir - only reason I'm leaving town. Headed to CAE simuflite in Dallas in July to get my PIC type in the Ultra.

So, at the end of the month I'm taking a job flying a Citation Ultra and a Cheyenne II for a charter company up in Manassas, VA just outside of DC. I'll be up there for at least a year, probably longer. I won't be back in town very often, but eventually I'm sure I'll be back in this neck of the wood...
