Re: Event 8 Check-In
Planning on being there. Any chance for more slaloms than usual? I felt like I was kinda weak on slaloms, this will be my last event before nats where I'm sure there will be fast slaloms.

Re: e92 M3 / 6th Gen Mustang Questions
Late to this thread but FWIW I think 11+ E92M's have a lower rate of failure with rod bearings, mostly cars that are tracked or fed shit oil at max interval. 11+ dont have lead so the oil analysis wont tell you if theyre about to spin though. Rod Replacement is anywhere from 1800-3k depending on the...

Surely someone at our events is a notary...
Re: Dixie
The used parts I got in to solve a problem were last assembled by a gorilla. They got broken because "tighten it until it breaks!!" is better than just tight enough... so... hope my old stressed front end parts don't fall off on course. Less work I have to do today. Hopefull...

Fastest official run. Ran a little quicker with a rider on my last run but I was just playing with how tight I could stay on cones... the course was getting faster every run and the tires were finally getting heat in them.

Re: first event 2019
I got a dadgum sunburn, wasnt expecting that. Great course - slaloms were a good pace, last slalom was fun to connect to the far sweeper on damp tires, increasing radius first turn around was a blast to power oversteer out of.

Hate to hear that Ben, sorry for your loss. Marcus and I are gonna be there after all, weather scared us away from Road Atlanta.

Re: Blytheville Pro cancelled
I feel like losing all these good sites is gonna slowly kill Pro Solo as a sport and SCCA seems to not be doing much about it. Slowly withering down to crumby small sites.
Re: Dixie
on the fence, it will be a call I'll have to make in late Feb hopefully there are still slots open.

Re: 2019 Season Changes
According to Lucas the front tension struts (thrust arm in lingo for other manufacturers) can clunk when you hit the brakes with any vigor if the bushing is starting to get worn out. Have to replace the whole arm AFAIK.

Re: Wheel Weight Opinions
Thats good news! Glad you didn't break the bank on something silly like Forgelines. If IMSA teams are running parts from a manufacturer, I figure I shouldn't be running them - and tons of IMSA teams run Forgelines  Side Note - does anyone know about what new super-200 tires are coming out next ...
