Re: Bristol Event 2015 Official Thread

Thanks to TEAMETR for a great event this weekend. It was the best racing weekend for me ever. It was full of ups and downs and had 3 cars fighting for 1st place. I think the difference was .720 1st to 3rd. Day 1 ...I found myself in 3rd place early on... then in second after the 5th run. Down by 1....

Re: May 17th event

I see my nemesis, Gary Kittel, has signed up for CAM. Maybe he hasn't found out about Bridgestones yet and I can keep my head on straight. Dewitt, I didn't make it obviously, see you at Bristol should be Me and 3 others from Asheville 2 Camaro and 2 Mustang and I've got new Hankooks, no Bridgestone...

Re: Driving Frustration Setting In

DeWitt, I took the weekend off, already saw video from Jake in the red Boss Mustang, he said he was 2nd to Clyde in the yellow vette they were running A street. I'll keep an eye out for your link, looked like a fun course that allowed you to get on the gas quite a bit. The ESP Boss is crazy fast.

I'll agree square to a point but you can't swap front to back without dismounting the tires.

Re: Driving Frustration Setting In

By the way I have run the last 2 Knoxville events with Traction control off and everything else on, I've only run a few events with the 1LE and am just getting used to it. I think my times speak for themselves, you can run well with even the traction control on my youngest son at 16 was so wild I wo...

Re: Driving Frustration Setting In

Why would a 1LE conversion make a square setup more legal? Actually the 1LE isn't square as the front wheels are 10" and the back are 11" just the tires 285 are the same.

Re: Driving Frustration Setting In

You can find the 1LE suspension parts a little over $1300 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/nal-23123397 but no gear(391), I've see them advertised for $450 and no tires and wheels, I've seen a set on ebay for $3500. The 6 speed is just a little different but I don't think you even want to try chang...

Re: Driving Frustration Setting In

I agree with "how many times have you spun it", you need to push the car beyond its limits a few times to find them or at least sort of find them.

Re: solo in the park event

Seems like the Top time of the day(FTD)doesn't reflect both days time as Laura in the GS Celica beat my combined time for the weekend
congratulations to her, unreal times.

Re: New rules/Camaro 1le

I guess I'll include my thoughts as someone who has a lot of experience in a 4th gen Camaro and very little in the 1LE 5th gen which some of you saw this weekend, I ran for years on 265 17 Kumho v710's, Victoracers and the occasional 275 17 Hoosier although I preferred the Kumho's due to lack of neg...
