Nothing is going on Friday right? No early reg or tech?
Maybe I missed it but is there going to be things going on for spectators? Rides etc?

I agree. Stainless is rough to work with. Look and see if you can substitute 303 stainless. It's much more machining friendly (but not welding friendly).

I currently work for Bell Helicopter as a fabricator. I have more experience with tool and die maintenance/repair (mainly injection molding dies) and machining.

Re: Renting a tow vehicle?
I don't know why they would rent you a huge truck and then tell you you couldn't tow. What else would you do with a 3/4 or ton diesel. But I wouldn't put it past them either.

Your experience taking it to the road courses.
I'd like to see what some have done to hit the road courses. Who's doing track days, time trials, wheel to wheel? What are you doing and where did you start? Car started with? Car your on now? I've have had the idea in my head for a while now and it won't go away. I keep reading about the formula ca...

Re: Renting a tow vehicle?
I did note some companies rented 3/4 and a ton trucks and being new trucks they listed pretty good gas milage vs older used trucks that I could buy. I'm not sure if they have tow restrictions etc.

Re: Renting a tow vehicle?
I've been looking into the same thing. We have an event in Colorado in August. I do not want to sit in the Exige for 20 hours of I can help it. If you come up with something please post it.

Re: Help, NB Miata Curbed Pretty Bad
Looking today the lower control arm is bent, the shock is off center with it. So I think it's joint is probably bent with it. End link was broke. I can't tell about tie rod, nothing obvious about it.
