Re: Solo Storm Update... whats the skinnee?

Been talking to Micheal @ Petrel - Make sure your OS on your device is at least Android version 5 and up. It will not work on anything older than that. My Tab 3 says it's running the latest version for it and that's 4.4.2 and will not load. So... don't delete your old SS if that's the case. He said ...

Re: Bristol Pro/Champ tours

I'm in!

SSR with possibly over 10 drivers... that's flipping awesome. Some co-drivers are not signed up yet so we COULD have 12 if the DePietros come. Megan isn't sure her work will let her travel.

Re: Solo Storm Update... whats the skinnee?

Yeah, I'm a lot less worried about it right now since I'm car-less and will be co-driving with people for the foreseeable future. Likley buying a new tablet in a couple months and download it fresh on that.

Re: Solo Storm Update... whats the skinnee?

I've not been able to get it to download on my tablet... but my tablet also was a beta test when Moses chisled the 15 commandments on it... so there's that.

Re: June 7th check in

Looks like we're coming up on Sunday to watch/Help out. I'll be around there ( most likely not until right before things start ) so if anyone needs a hand, let me know. Just keep an eye out for us.

Re: Loaner helmet change

Are we going to have a sign up at the gate about it as well or maybe have someone there to mention it during signing of waivers or something? That way we're not wasting someone's time any more than possible.

Re: Bristol Pro/Champ tours

Not sure what I'm doing yet about the tour. I had planned on going but now that I am carless, I am at the mercy of my co-driver right now. He's on the fence about going since it's the 4th weekend I'm betting.
Already decided he's not doing the Peru champ tour so I'm looking for a car for that one.

Re: Motorsports park in oak ridge

There was a meeting yesterday I think ( virtual one ) about this place... anyone attend or hear anything? I know it wasn't about decisions, it was just discussion but was curious.

Re: Covid 19

Ok... so May 28th is the start of phase 2 in TN.... at least for now. What will that mean for us? Sounds like still NO gatherings over 50, but since we'd not be in close quarters and can totally social distance, what will that mean? At this rate, we MIGHT be able to have autocrosses by July.... MIGHT.

Very cool, Chris. Wish I had the budget to at least get an entry level PC/laptop to do it.

I decided to buy toy car #3 when I only have a 2-car garage ... gonna blame it on the virus. :)
Anytime you need storage...I happen to have a garage that will fit a Corvette.

Re: Covid 19

Everyone hanging in there OK? hopefully no one has succummed to cabin fever and did something crazy like LS swap their garden tractor.

Keep on keeping on and stay positive. If anyone needs interaction, this is a place to do it. None of us are truly alone even if we're separated by distance or a mask.
