Re: South Ga Dixie National Tour

When is everyone getting on site? I'll be there around lunchtime on Friday... Can someone saved me a spot? Just remove for the Vette and the tire trailer.
Thanks

Re: Looking for tires for a C5Z

335s fit the rears just fine as well.

As far as the bigger fronts, not sure about the side wall flex in street tires, but the 315 in Hoosier tires is slightly sloppy in quick transition elements, but sweepers love it.

Found the car. Got a battery for her and start working on it this afternoon. Not much to do but not a lot of free time these days.

Sorry Randy, didn't see this until just now. They are gone to the great tire fire in the sky. Was away from my phone all day and was just posting to end the thread.

No problem. They are big and only a few people here can use them.
Guess they're getting recycled this weekend.

Re: Hoosier tires cheap

They are pretty old. As I said... They've been kept in an unheated garage for many Winters and I'm not sure I'd tell someone it's ok.
I'd use them for my own car, but not trust them on some one else's

I remember the days when I first ran where that was THE tire to have for a street tire at local events

Hoosier tires cheap

I have a bunch of a6 tires that I can no longer use, so if anyone is looking for Corvette sized tires they can be had cheap. Have to get exact numbers, but I have a bunch of. 315/30 - 18 335/30-18 None are new and have been in a non heated garage. That they are a6 tires tells you that they are older...
