Re: Covid 19

Everyone hanging in there OK? hopefully no one has succummed to cabin fever and did something crazy like LS swap their garden tractor.

Keep on keeping on and stay positive. If anyone needs interaction, this is a place to do it. None of us are truly alone even if we're separated by distance or a mask.

2002 Corvette Z06 prepped for SSR/AS

Time has come to sell the Z06. I'll be putting more in here once I get things finalized but here's the basics. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1XfsAGNaycq_vRG8Qv6J4K_dE-fd7awnN Car is located in Knoxville TN ( always garaged ) and pictures will be forthcoming. Hopefully I can figure out how t...

Re: Covid 19

Been busy this past month working on rebuilding a pond. The wife and I have been re-rocking the entire thing and rebuilding the waterfall. We think that we're about 90% there. Just some gravel and rock to put around one side and get a few other things wrapped up. The fact that I've been able to do t...

Re: Covid 19

Yes... I have 1 person in PA that is interested but I've not hit him up right now with everything going on. Once things clear up and we have a better idea of what's going on I will see if he's still a player. I know he's selling a BRZ/FRS thing 1st. Here's what you get for the money. 2002 Z06 with 1...

Re: Covid 19

with everyone on "lockdown" supposedly... I'm shocked how quiet this forum is... I figured people would be wanting to at least bench race or talk about what they are doing while things are going on. Me - work hasn't changed for me... in fact we're busier than before. I've been working from home ever...

Re: Dixie/Zmax

SCCA an Dixie region did a great job when it came so personal safety, sanitation and so on there. everyone got a commemorative pen ( not a special pen, but it was ours to keep ) when signing the waiver. No hands-on stuff happened like handing over SCCA cards and the like. No one was shaking hands ( ...

Re: Dixie/Zmax

Dixie turnout was good. I think we had 285+ before this all started and final PAX count was 238. Super fun courses. Everyone was not freaking out and we all ( at least I hope we all did ) did what we needed to do to stay free of contamination. 1st time I've been to dixie where there was ZERO threat ...

Re: Dixie/Zmax

Don't forget flags, radios, cones, vests and so on at an autocross... someone sneezes and buries their head in their arm can still contaminate a vest or radio or clipboard and so on. We're still going. We're taking a tub of clorox wipes and putting some in zip lock bags for taking on course and prob...

Re: Dixie/Zmax

That's where the SCCA and the Dixie region need to be making a decision and be proactive about it vs reactive after 100+ people start making their way down there today

What about Charolette.... that's a place that is a huge population center vs Dixie.

Re: Dixie/Zmax

It's ok Steve... according to the sandbox, we're all A-holes for going in the 1st place. I'm sure there's going to be a number of people that are backing out by the time we get there tomorrow.

Re: Novice program

The reality is that you're never going to have 1:1 or even 1:2 ratio for novices, especially early in the year. Now, by event #10 your number of newbs is a lot lower but we still have some that find us. The novice instructors, to me, are not an essential position for the event, but a nice thing to h...
