I'm all packed up and the car is loaded and ready to go.
See you on Saturday morning.

Re: Sad day
I'm curious how many cones will be hit this weekend in my car... you're not going to be used to the sticky tires... lol
Re: Sad day
Upon further review, the ruling on the field is overturned...
You're still classed in SS
You're not going to try though this weekend are you? If so... then after my 3 PRO class runs I want a try!

Re: Sad day
wow, that's a new one to me. In the past, when a car was not classified in a stock class, it would be in "SP", ala ZR1, 997 GT3 ( before it was placed in SS last year or so ) and so on. Since the car presumably WOULD be a SS car to begin with, not sure how that works. I'll ask my solo chai...
Re: Sad day
No... your car was not classed and therefore will be in SSP until next year.RxCritical wrote:From what I read in the rule book it seems I should still be in SS for a new production unrated car.
Thoughts???
actually, ETR might throw you in the STM ( Street tire-modified ) class...
Re: Sad day
can't wait to see it this weekend. It's going to be a nice weekend too.
Guess the thread should be titled "HAPPY DAY"
looks great Paul. I was wondering what color the calipers would be. Looks sharp.

Re: Jumping in the deep end
Well, SSP might change over the next 2 years depending on how the classing plays out with the street classes, so that's somewhat of a 'in flux' thing. Robert has commented that the car is very easy on tires. My Z is getting oever 70-100 runs on tires from new and they still work when driven by fast ...

Re: So what if I really did sell the CRX? What next?
or you could just buy the ITR on RRAX and have some fun in Dstreet.
I love ITRs.. wish I would've bought one new back in 98 like I wanted to.

Re: So what if I really did sell the CRX? What next?
My experience with my Z06 is this... if you do that many tours and they are on concrete... plan on 1 set just for those tours. If you do it right... you can use those for locals as well. Example.... I buy a set FOR nationals... then use those the rest of the local season and then for most of the nex...

Re: September 28th - Adesa Worker Thread
I'll be there for sure, so I just need to register.
I'll work anything but inside the timing trailer.
Grid seemed to go smooth for me @ the park event, but I really don't care where.
I need to see if Paul's C7 is going to be ready or not so I know if I have a co-driver.

Re: 2013 SCCA Solo Nationals
Steve, no updated on how you felt you did?
Considering you don't have a lot of seat time in the car, that's not a bad result IMO.
Glad you made it and went.

Re: Driving To Make A Difference ADESA 2013 Official Thread
Yes, it's pretty easy. I've done the fronts before, but the rears just involve getting the half-shaft disconnected in the process. I'm keeping my fingers x'd for you getting the car as well. Want to see it out there. Hell, you might end up being the 1st customer car that is autocrossed. Charge that ...
