Re: Cars + Coffee x2

Oh man, that would have been fun! I think I remember taking my old Laser to the EAG cc a couple of years ago, had a blast. Fun roads!

Re: June 2nd smokies event

Last event I helped set up timing, so with a little bit of guidance I'm sure I could do it. Either that, or I would be glad to help out elsewhere, learn a few things, carry stuff, whatever someone sees fit!

Re: July Bristol National

Oh man, I wish I would've caught this sooner! That sounds like a lot of fun. Where would I look to even sign up for this? It's probably too late now, but who knows!

Re: WTB TW200 Tires

I have 5.5in wide rims, so I was worried that a 225 might just be too much. I'm driving a 98 Civic, and I've heard about clearance issues with a tire that wide

WTB TW200 Tires

Hi, I was looking for some used tires for my car, I have both 14 and 15in wheels, I am just looking to see what I can get!
I would prefer some 205/50/15s though! The biggest I can get, given my rim width. Thank you!

Re: Autocross School 2019

So, leaving by 6 didn't happen, but, 8 is fine too I guess? I hope it isn't too much trouble that I am late!!

Re: Autocross School 2019

The engine and transmission are ready to drop in! The motor mounts just got delivered today. What a crazy past couple of days. I will be putting it in after work, but I don't get off until 2am, so it looks like the test drive is going to be to Bristol! I also might be a little late, since I need to ...

Re: Autocross School 2019

I see that there is a Test and Tune option too, very exciting! If I can get my car put back together in time I would love to go. The water pump has been seeping for a while and it's only gotten worse so I wanted to change it before the next event, I mean, I "could" trailer it but, where's the fun in...

Re: Hypothetical Question

After looking closer at the Tripletreds, they have way more cracking then previously noticed, lets just say I wouldn't feel safe driving on them long term and under the stress of autocross I don't want them to blow out. I'll stick with the bald eagles for now!

Re: Hypothetical Question

Alright, so I almost have the car ready to go, I just have a few final things to finish today! In regards to the bushings, when i used my needle nose pliers the bushings were very easily compress-able, so I guess it is just blue rubber. I also was able to finally find some 15x5.5 rims after a lot of...

Re: Hypothetical Question

So, I got some of the parts in, but one in particular confuses me. I ordered some new front sway bar end link bushings, part # 46G0036A I used rock auto for this, and the bushing material said rubber, and the color said black. But the bushings I got were blue! I have looked online and it seems peopl...

Re: Hypothetical Question

Man, all those basketball games made it crazy in the pizza business ha! Anyways, I wish there were more test and tunes, that would be a great way to get some more seat time. For now I guess I will just have to go to every event! And oh yes, I love Copart. Almost all of my cars I have bought from the...

Re: Hypothetical Question

That's cool to know that it is legal! If the needed ever arose for some reason. But, I can say I am not going to worry about it now, the wrecked Si that started me thinking about this whole this is so badly damaged, that the amount of money put spent vs improvements would just be too much! I will be...

Hypothetical Question

Hi guys, my name is Nick, but I also go by Thorne (middle name) as well sometimes too, so call me whichever! Anyways, I had a quick question to ask about the legality of what I am proposing in the car classification of the SCCA. I had a huge post written up, that took so long to write I was logged o...
